Baxton Studio Everdon Modern Coffee Table, Dark Brown

Ordered this coffee table and it's really nice. Solid wood tabletop and legs I'm happy to say. Reasonably easy to put together alone if you take your time and read instructions carefully - and I'm not generally considered a "handyperson". The pieces were all in good condition except for one tiny flaw on one of the table corners which can be fixed with wood glue. The finish is great. No complaints here - packaging was good when it shipped. Just a general warning on maintenance - make sure you use placemats and don't put anything on the surface that will scratch like plastic. Scratches aren't deep and not very noticeable (unless you're kind of OCD) but they will mar surface. But it was a great buy at the price and looks good in my living room.

Beautiful table, but no one is kidding about how easily it gets scratched. I ordered a 36" x 36" piece of acrylic plexiglass to cover the top - came 24 hours after the table and I already had to touch up before I covered it. Used squares of Gorilla Glue tape to tack it down and I'm thrilled with the result.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this coffee table as part of a set, just got them today. The color is a dark dark brown, not black per another review. The table sit level to my furniture and they look great. You need 2 people to put together, makes it easier because of the table design. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Its veneer or engineered wood so be careful because its easy to scratch. I gave this table a 3 because there was a defect. I decided it was easier to hide the defect verses returning the product.

Looks great. easy to put together except the final step. Except for the last step, each step had the proper screws, and it was very clear where to put them. The last step required you to align what you had put together with the final piece. The markings weren't perfect. Then you had to screw the screws to where there was no indentation, so you were flying just a bit blind. As a result. The base isn't exactly square with the top. Fixing it seems ominous and maybe with a worse situation. I hope my mild-case OCD allows me to live with this.

This was a beautifully designed table and blended perfected with our contemporary space. However, within the first two days, we noticed how easily the surface would scratch. Multiple scratches from just have coasters on it!! We couldn't believe the construction of it considering it is wood. Very disappointed considering its design, not sure how to make this usable without worrying about constantly scratching it which is not realistic.

I received the item damaged on the edge and the corner of the top. I used a strong glue to have it look decent.I did not want to undertake a return procedure , but I could see that the delivery did not handle with care because of how the damage looked.However I still like the coffee table and the damage is almost invisible !Thank you for talking to the delivery serviceSincerely,Gigi

The bottom came with several deep scratches on the bottom on every side. Its a nice table, but I spent money a table with a scratched up bottom. At least I have carpet, so its only noticeable if you're actually looking at it but I would have gone with a different table if I had known it would arrive like this.Update: I contacted amazon and received a partial refund.

I have ordered 3 tables from different sellers and all of them had damage. I believe this comes straight from the manufacturer, although the delivery is not ideal either. I would not recommend this product, nor would I ever order a product from this manufacturer again. Based on my personal experience and other reviews I have read (after ordering) , it is a common complaint to receive a damaged product. I ended up keeping 2 of the tables, however it was clear the manufacturer tried repairing one of them before sending it out. In addition we still had to repair ourselves once we received it.
