Q: Can you use this controller by itself with your pc or do you need to buy the steam link unit as well?

If you're using a PC, then you do not need the steam link. The Steam link is used for connecting your steam library and all of the other aspects of steam to a tv, so that you can play it from a couch.

Q: Does it come with a wireless dongle/adapter to connect it wirelessly to my pc?

It does come with a wireless adapter. Furthermore, after the firmware update, you can also connect it to your PC through Bluetooth if your PC has it too (not requiring the dongle that way).

Q: Is this controller compatible with Windows computer?

Yes. It's compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Q: Does the comes with the same preorder bonus of Portal 2 or Rocket League?

Did preorder but for some reason Amazon shipped until yesterday 11/15th and I got Portal2 code, but I already owned that game, I wanted Rocked League :(
