I really love the design of this product as it allows heat to escape, but doesn’t let any wetness into the shed. High-quality design!

These have worked well to help vent my attic. So far no water leaks since my new roof.

Manufacturer's website has a video explaining how to install vent. Video shows proper-sized hole cut in roof. Great. Now, how about a video on how to trim the various layers of shingles? The video clearly shows that the shingles have been cut out in the desired shape, but there is no explanation. I made a cardboard template based on the shape of the vent where it slips under the shingles (curved at the top, slightly flared downward edges) and this worked - but the manufacturer should have included such a template in the box. That said, this vent seems to be well made of good material and should last many years.

I as a home owner was able to easily install this. And mine was new install in a metal roof. If you are replacing a vent even easier. It is durable and affordable.

Items arrived late

Plastic is much thicker than vents I viewed at HD. Bought and had thos installed after wind driven fine snow badly penetrated my ridge vents and caused vaulted ceiling drywall damage. Sealed my ridge vent and had one of these installed for piece of mind. Highly doubt there will be issues now.

Works great and the venting let's no snow in.

I bought a couple of these to put on my garage roof since I recently insulated and drywalled it. Prior to this the garage had exposed rafters so the builder didn't install roof vents, it just had soffit vents. The asphalt shingles were on the roof for about 10 years and it still only took me about 90 minutes to install 2 vents. The tapered sides made it a little more challenging to slide the vent under the well set shingles without damaging the existing materials but with a little care it wasn't too bad. These vents are well designed and well built. I'm confident they will be leak free. They are a little more expensive than the basic ones you can find at the big box hardware stores but these have features that make them worth the extra cost.

I liked the size of the snowventco, much larger than traditional roof vents. This always for a good application of adhesive before the shingles are applied. The top cover snaps on and wonder if there's a possibility it can blow off though. The design is well thought out and appears to eliminate weather elements to enter the attic.

Easy to install and looks good on my roof. Already had two major rainstorms and no leaking. Also noticed a difference in the temperature and moisture levels in my attic.
