Scubapro X-Tek Single Diving Tank Adapter

Easy to assemble, fits like a glove. I did opt to replace the provided wing nuts with book nuts just to aid in my own comfort, however before I replaced them I installed with the provided wings nuts and they did not effect comfort that I could tell. This may well have more to do with my particular back plate so results may vary based on the shape of your back plate. Works with no problems, adjusts nicely and easily adapts between my 7.25 inch tanks and the few 8 inch tanks that I have. As a dive instructor I need high quality gear that stand up to the abuse and this tank adapter seems to fit the bill quite nicely.

Excellent attachment system. Be aware that the tank adapter is NOT same shape as the one featured in the picture!The in the picture used to allow the attachment of weights directly to the adapter and then in contact with the scuba cylinder.This was probably changed to a system that does not allow the inclusion of weights.Why? Probably because in the event of an emergency with the original system, there is no way to to ditch your weights - short of ditching your entire scuba system!... However - the v-shaped adapter is like an old old one I've used and very effective, albeit a little heavy.All of the above withstanding - Scubapro has done a great job with the tank straps!

If you use the same size tank all the time these cam straps make it easy to change your tank out, slip it over the tank, align it, and strap it down. I've used this with the typical AL80, my personal HP100s steel tanks, and with LP85 steel tanks.No idea of how well the single tank adapter works, as my backplate and wing are designed to be used without it.

These are great straps. We have two sets that have been used to replace the standard Hollis straps. Love these. Absolutely love them. They hold tightly, are easy to connect and disconnect. You won’t find anything better out there. They just work

Cam bands make tank change so much easier. The STA did not fit current BPW set up

The one I received is not the picture. The one I received is a V shape. It is 13.75"H x 3"W. I do like the straps. I wanted the plate in the picture. My 5lb weight will fit a flat rectangular plate not the V shaped plate.

Works perfectly, nice and secure.
