Activ Betta Natura-Lite Aquarium Sand, 1-Pound

The white/clear/black stones I already had., the natural earth-tone rocks are the ones purchased. You can see they mixed nicely. I had a 1/2 gal tank and decided to move up to a filtered 1 gal tank, and I felt I needed more stones. The bag was a lil smaller than expected, very flat. It comes with a lil water in it, wash them well before adding into the aquarium. The stones are very small, but work nicely. I plan to purchase a live plant, and I think the stones will work well for that. Keep in mind, my pic has approx 2 bags worth in it.

There are other ways to rush starting up an aquarium. Do some research. This definitely has done a descent job at starting the ecology of my tank. It’s not fool proof though. I will use it again but it doesn’t replace knowledge and effort . Don’t expect this to do all the work.

I must say I'm very impressed. A great value for the money because the tank is crystal clear and my fish who also came from Amazon in a box has totally acclimated to his tank because of your product.

this bag is much smaller than i thought. but i was adding it to regular gravel to help quicken the cycling of our tank. it worked. it does make the water very cloudy at first but with in a couple hours it had cleared. i cycled our new 3 gallon tank with one of these little bags, 3 live plants, and a snail successfully in about a week. i added one beta at that point and kept testing the water, everything was perfect. its been a couple of months and we are very pleased.

Seriously? Need to buy 5 bags for just a one gallon tank.

I bought this to mix in my soil for a succulent plant, worked well for what I needed.

I bought this to kickstart my betta tank setup. I have a Fluval Spec III 2.6 gallon and if you wanted to exclusively fill that with this gravel you'll need around 3 packs, however I chose to mix it in with regular gravel due to the high price.

My sons nano tank cycled very quickly with this gravel!

My betta loves these rocks!They look so nice in the tank, even mixed in with other gravel. They made the water a little cloudy at first, but a little rinsing and cycling of the tank will fix that!The only thing is, the bags are small so you would have to buy several bags for a large tank.
