Handle gets too hot!
I gave it only 3 starts because the darn handle gets piping hot that you can;t hold it, so you have to take a pot holder or towel or whatever and hold it that way. I hate doing that but if you don't mind grabbing a towel every time you heat up water, then by all means. I think they should be a little more modern in Turkey where it came from and put a sturdy plastic or rubber that can withstand high temperatures, and stick it to the metal handle. It's done for decades all over the place and they should do it there too! I understand it won;t show the old-fashioned look of a metal handle but so be it. The way it is, it is totally unpractical. There are also metals that don't conduct high temps out there and I have those pans in my kitchen. I mean, the pot looks pretty on my stove and whatnot, it even heats up the water faster because of the copper and because it is narrower on the top, so it's more efficient, but I wish they put a different handle metal. Oh well. I'm still gonna be using it because I found a rubber in Chinatown that fits right on the handle, so now it's perfect. So, if you wanna do a little improv, then buy it!

Factory 2nd quality
I found it a bit wider that I imagined; in the picture it looks more tall. But, it's all good. Please note this is a Factory 2nd; here is from an E-Mail from the seller:"Since we are selling this item as a Factory Second (meaning that it is not first-quality goods from the factory), we do not have very much information on it."Mine came with a slightly dented bottom, and the interior wasn't completely lined (~90%). It's missing lining over the copper near the top up to the rim.I'd hate to send it back as it is really a beautiful piece, and still a great deal. I only pour out of that area anyway, and probably won't get copper poisoning from just pouring it out over it.Note the price of the Old Dutch International website is $45; it's $16 here on amazon because they're the factory rejects. If you are looking for a really good quality pot, probably get something else. But you can't deny how much of a deal this is. This thing really is a beauty.

Turkish Coffee pot
I love it! Its pretty, I use it to warm my hot chocolate and my coffee. And it hangs in my kitchen and looked great untill I forgot it on the stove and burned the copper on it. Now it just looks ok and my man was happy I didn't melt it down. LOL

Factory Second" means "can't be used".
This product was listed as "factory Second" since the handle rivets protruded a bit. Well I figured 'who cares-I just want to make coffee with it'. Well the rivets protrude (as stated) but liquid leaks from where the rivets punch through the pot. There is also no welding which means they never attempted to seal the rivets. So, with shipping I spent almost $50 on a briki that couldn't make coffee! The item was a present so when I received it (I assumed it worked because it looked fine) I wrapped it. By the time my friend opened it for her birthday and tried to use it - and found out it was worthless - the refund time expired. Who sells a product with no quality control measures?? If they QC'd the factory second they would have realized it leaks. They should be ashamed.

Water leeking from rivets!!
Water drips from the rivets, it's messy. I didn't want to pay for extra shipping so I kept it. BUT I am not delighted with my purchase!
