Airport Extreme (6th Generation) + 3 Ethernet Cables (Renewed)

Arrived in like new condition, original packaging, and not a blemish on the surface. Replaced an eight-year-old AE that served us well.

I received the router on time, and securely packaged. It appears to look like new. I am replacing on older airport extreme. I tried a new Eero router. What a disaster. I have nothing good to say about that experience. I only want a good router for computers, and iPads. Nothing fancy. This new ,(renewed) router was very easy to set up. Maybe because it is another Apple product. Only had to reset modem and that was that. No issues, just good, stable internet service. One day, this router will need to be replaced and I have no idea what I will do since Apple stopped making a good, dependable product. Thank you for making it possible to get this great router.

This airport extreme is replacing a $700 unit that can’t get Wi-Fi from the third floor down to the parking lot. This Apple product is no longer made will keep me connected to the Internet a block and a half away from the office.

When I connected this airport, it showed a password and the name of the network/owner/location still. A truly refurbished product would have been wiped and reset which is what I had to do myself. I have Apple Care on my new computer, so they helped me with this product and the senior advisor I worked with had been with Apple for over 25 years only taking calls about airports. He told me based on this information which we were remote screen sharing at the time, there is no way this item was refurbished and I will be contacting Amazon separately to let them know. This was a huge amount of money to pay and I did it thinking it was a refurbished item. Buy yours on eBay - the same model is selling for $30-50 and there's lots of them. I ordered two more from eBay just to check and guess what - they had been wiped and reset to factory specs like this should have been. Save your money and go to eBay. Could have ordered 5 for this price and the odds of getting a good one were just as good. This is not a refurbished product, so don't be misled.

Unfortunately, the item had a few scratches, giving it a less "renewed" appearance.

Everything was as advertised and expected. Total experience was good and product was as advertised. So, I am happy camper.
