RC Model Steel Roll Cage Body for 1/16 E-Revo VXL

I didn’t take a photo unfortunately. I have the 1/16 e revo vxl. I was excited to get this cage. I went to mount it and got everything set up and screwed it together. The down side. The cage just didn’t fit comfortably. Was really tight on the transmitter and etc. overall the cage posts u screw down weren’t long enough. Maybe needs another half centimeter of length. Also would have liked to put the cover on top but the mount post were under the bars. I returned this product. 2 things needed change. Mount Post need to be free of the welded bars. Add half centimeters to the legs were you screw the cage together to the car

Does what its supposed to do. BUT the quality is complete junk. Welds are done by a drunk monkey, you will have to bend the posts to match the mounting points. Do so carefully as the welds will break if you have to bend it too far. Sucks that this is the only one Ive found for revo. I have gone through 3 of these so far. First crash bends the posts and its done.

I finally installed on one of my RCs. It did increase the overall strength of my RC and fit perfectly. However, it did make a really tight fit putting on the plastic body. Personally, Id rather use this as a body replacement which would allow free airflow to the motor and ESC and offer a rugged MAD MAX vibe, the original with Mel Gibson!

this fits great. take off the rear wing and mount to make it look much better.

It is a well built quality product. I had to bend one of the legs in to be able to align the screw which was no big deal. Also, had to bend the top/rear bars to have the mounting points protrude out far enough so that i can still install the Erevo plastic cover. I will have to cut a bit off the back of the Erevo cover but the actual roll cage is very sturdy. Also, the spoiler sits right on top of the back side of the cage.

I love this cage, however one of the previous reviewers was correct...you need to trim the INSIDE of the front pads otherwise they would/will dig into the body of the truck.

Good body protection

Fits perfect on my e revo. Quality is top notch, very strong, and looks incredible. I use it in situations where I dont want to destroy the plastic body like jumps or the skatepark.
