Weiler 44020 60" Hardwood Handle, Tapered Wood Tip, 1-1/8" Diameter, Made in the USA

I didnt see the 1-1/8 diam on the site when i bought these . I have an antique rake head and ill have to shave this one down to fit. But these are very strong and will serve well in future. thanks

What can I say? I bought this as a wooden handle for a garden scraper and it does just that - it is wood, and it works.

I had to reshape the end of the stick to fit my weeding tool, so I could secure it with a screw. Took me a little while (with a knife) but it was worth the effort. Otherwise the wood seems to be strong and sturdy.

I'm not using this as a tool handle, but as a "scribing stick". I've drilled a 1/8" hole at the business end of tool. The hole is centered to it's outside diameter of the pole. Following the drilling process, I inserted a hardened (Toughen) sharpened .156 Diameter PIN of which is sharpened, such as a pencil would be sharpened, and then epoxied to retain it. USAGE; this configuration, along w/solid copper "wire", looped around a IE: TREE or BUSH; at that point I then have a "Circle Making Scriber" in my turf/lawn. After scribing the turf, I use a sod lifter & shovel and remove the "circled scribed sod/dirt", great for landscaping. When completed, I have great looking yard with most of my trees & bushes, w/perfect circles & brown mulched surrounding ea. Tree and bush. When all was completed, our city (Centerville, Ohio) Rewarded us with nice plaque of recognition of landscaping excellence.

I’ll keep it but didn’t fit but really what I got won’t fit anything. A piece of junk from a Facebook purchase!!

It's way too small for anything else, and they not accepted return!

These are nice handles but I had to add a 3/4” PVC coupler to it by sanding it down a little to make it work on my hoes .Would recommend these to anyone

Found the handle to be a little narrow for my shovel but it still works well.
