a nice bag but
I do like this bag, but the stitching needs to be stronger.

Work for what we need
These are great bags to hall hay to a show when you don't have small squares. However if you are needing to take a lot of hay like us might want to purchase more than one. If you fill them too full the zipper will tear at the seams.

Love the size
This bag is HUGE!! Which is wonderful. I have a different bag that fit the bales perfectly and it so such a struggle to get the hay in and the hay out. This bag is big enough to get large bales in. Then when you get to the show you can leave the hay in the bag, cut the strings and work right out of the bag because it is has enough room for expansion so you can take hay out flake by flake. With my other bag I had to take the hay out when we got to show and then cut the strings because it fit so tight you couldn't get a flake of hay out without a struggle or the bag being half empty. We travel quite a bit and this bag has held up well. Also it is water resistant so when those male dogs at the shows decide they are going to go on your hay, now it is protected and your horses will still eat it. No surprise wet flakes. Totally worth the money.

Big, strong and handy, wish the zipper went both ways.
This bag is strong and huge! I use 2-string bales in Vermont. They generally weigh from 25 to 37 pounds. If I undo the second bale I can almost fit two bales in one of these bags.I use the bag mostly to bring hay from my folks house to mine, for summertime feeding of my one horse, I just throw the bag in my car...The only disappointing feature is the zipper only works from one end. I am used to hay bags that zip both ways, from the middle to the ends, and this is just not as user-friendly. If they improved that zipper quirk I would probably buy another one because they are that handy.

Great size, but difficult to use.
We SO love that the hay bag is larger than the standard bag, because it's much, MUCH easier to pull the hay out once you cut the strings. However, we've had to jury-rig a fix for the bag only having one zipper. If you open it from one end and don't have something to keep the hay in the bag, it gets everywhere. This probably wouldn't be a problem for people who use it to feed their horses/other large livestock, but when you have small animals such as rabbits who only go through a little bit of hay at a time, it's extremely difficult to get the hay out without getting the hay all over the floor.Again, we LOVE the size of the bag, but we'd also love a double-zipper so that the hay doesn't get everywhere when we open it.

Not a carry hay bag, more for storage
I use this for storage while camping. Not sturdy enough to pick up and carry, but keeps it from flying around once the bale is cut and loose. Wish the zipper met in the middle rather than run all the way from one side to the other. Great for the price!

Great
I use this to store my hay and just pull from it as needed for my rabbits. It's a total game changer. I love it. It could be better if the top zipper was around the sides instead of down the middle but for the money its worth it. I don't use it for traveling or moving hay so I'm not sure how durable or sturdy it will be. For my purposes its perfect.

Works great for hay bales (and camping tents)
Durable, waterproof, luv it. Wish it was a little bigger. To much room for one bale, not enough for two. After having these for awhile I still love them. Well the two I have left I love. Turns out they are also the perfect size to put tents in for camping and one of them mysteriously disappeared into my husbands camping supplies.
