Clover 1045/G Purple Amour Crochet Hook, Size G, 4.0mm

These Clover Amour crochet hooks are my favorite crochet hooks. I am able to crochet for many, many hours without my hand hurting which is unlike other crochet hooks I have tried. The hooks are very smooth and light in my hand. I have two complete sets of them because I like them so much. They are a little more expensive than some hooks, but in my opinion, they are worth it.

These clover hooks look pretty similar to many of the cheaper ones that you'll find on Amazon, but they're a noticeable improvement and worth getting.I purchased these for a friend for Christmas, but had the chance to try them out for myself too. Compared to other hooks that I've used, the yarn doesn't really catch or snag on these clover hooks. Overall, they're more comfortable to use on my hands, and actually make crocheting a little bit quicker since the yarn doesn't catch.They sell kits of these hooks too which can be cheaper at times than buying them individually - since I'll never use every single size available in the bigger kits, I like being able to purchase the ones that I know I'll use one by one.

This little hook is very smooth the #10 thread I use glides excellent on it. Clover hooks are my favorite and are very comfortable to hold.

comfortable, but so are my other hooks. but it slides through even 'sticky' feeling cheaper yarn like butter and the head of the hook is slightly less bulbous and so also goes through tight stitches easier.

I love the grips on these. I have arthritis and I can crochet with them for hours. The metal hook catches the yarn easily. The yarn slides easily which makes my stitching faster. They are definitely worth every single penny.

Clover is very good for me. This stainless steel hook is well made and easy to crochet with. It comes with a stainless cover.

I always thought a crochet hook was just a crochet hook. For years I've been using the cheap ones you buy for a couple of dollars at craft stores and whenever I had trouble with yarn splitting or the hook getting caught, I assumed it was my own ineptitude. This hook has proved me wrong. It feels like I'm crocheting with butter. It goes through tight stitches easily and enables me to work so much faster without worrying about tension. These are a little pricier but it's worth it and I'm planning to gradually replace all my old hooks with these ones.

I heard this was suggested over the hooks woobles comes with, and yeah it's much easier to use these. The tip is a bit narrower on the clover so it's easier to poke through the holes in your crochet work. The metal is also smoother so I have very little issue with the yarn snagging or pulling on the sides. Even though woobles always come with a crochet hook, this one is superior (though all the limited print ones are so cute).
