Maybelline New York Expert Tools, Eyelash Curler

I've been reluctant to try a new curler since I read the many reviews on replacements for the old white rubber strips on my old, early Mabelline eyelash curler. I decided to bight the bullet and try this.This new curler is actually superior to the original. The original was TOO curved. my eyes are wide, but not bulging, so the new curler always pinched my eyelid or the skin of my cheek.The new curler takes some experimenting with. I tried curling with it near the ends of my lashes - it didn't work at all. The same for crimping the middle of the lashes.The answer is - follow the instructions! I know - what a novel idea, right?Place the curler near the base of the eyelashes, squeeze, hold for fifteen seconds, and wah-lah! You've got eyelashes that curl sraight up over your eyelids.Everyone else is correct, in that if you don't follow directions, it won't work at all.

Yes I have bought the more pricey curlers both in person and on-line and i have to say i was so tired of those that slid off my lashes or were of the wrong size and bend to fit my eyes. I have a normal face so no reason why i was having problems. I thougth i had had my 2 old Maybellines for years and years so that they did not press together as well. SSOooo I thought why not just order the very inexpensive one and see how it does. Well I have only used it twice so far but I can say -- the darn thing works, curls the eyelashes and stays in place with no pain or pull. So here's to staying with something that works

It's really good for small eyes, the pads r not as thick as some, but works better for me!

These are my favorite. I don't have large eyes or almond shaped eyes. This is well curved for my smaller eyes. I had an old one for a long, long time and it finally started to get a little rusty. I could not find in stores. I also find as I am getting older, the other brands are hard to use. It seems may be my eyes don't pop like they used to or I'm just a little wrinkled? Not sure, eye sockets seem deeper especially on one eye. I did buy one here that was a little "off." I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one. (john's wife.)

My last Maybelline lash curlers were my favorite. They outlasted several others and worked the best for my eye shape. They don't pinch and give a nice natural curl. I had them for 20 years, until I couldn't find replacement pads any longer. Tried other brands, even more expensive ones and Maybelline is still the best. Purchased an extra pair plus pads. So happy I finally found these on Amazon. Thank you!

PROS:Easy to UseDoesn't rip out my lashesGives my lashes a SLIGHT curlInexpensive (and frankly, I think a lot of the more expensive ones don't work better. I've tried some.)CONS:THE OLD Maybelline eyelash curler had the little rubbery pad, not this black silicone? pad. While this works in the same way, DON'T GET NEARLY the curl. WISH THEY WOULD BRING the old one back! NEW doesn't mean BETTER.

I bought this in June 2019 to keep in my car. Well as soon as I used it it pinched the corner of my eye. I thought it was something I was doing wrong. Well all the times I tried it it did the same thing and it was painful!! I’ve been using maybelline eyelash curlers since I was 13 I’m now 54. Couldn’t find them in the stores anymore. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought it. I know it’s only $5 but it’s the principle!

Fue un pedido para mi mamá y dice que le ha gustado mucho, por lo regular siempre usaba revlon pero dice que le ha gustado más este, ella es de poca pestaña, lo único que me hubiera gustado es que trajera un repuesto!

Maybelline I don't know what you have done but this is not the curler I remember using. Quality is lacking. Will not buy again.

Eyelashes curl easily... no harm done.

Me encanta que tenga la parte curva. Esto es muy importante ya que actualmente la mayoría de los enchinadores no lo tiene y hace que las pestañas se vean extrañas.
