MackieCR3-XBT 3 inch Multimedia Monitors with Bluetooth

I purchased these for my son who is starting to get into making YouTube content. The 3 inch drivers produce a good amount of bass/mid bass and sound like they are -3-5DB below 45-50hz. Jthis could easily be fixed with a subwoofer if you need flat response down to the low end of the spectrum. The tweeter are very mellow and not fatiguing to listen to like metal tweeters. They get very loud for their size! I have a pair of KRK Rokit 6s on my desk that sound very similar at almost double the size! I was very impressed with all the input options and only needing to run power to one speaker. There is also a switch that allows for the powered speaker to be on the left or the right. Bluetooth is easy to setup and can be “mixed” with RCA/ 1/4 inch wired inputs. Awesome sound for a great price.

This is a very nicely made, nice looking, and easy to use set of Bluetooth speakers.Pros: front power/volume control and headphone out(1/8”)Sounds good without adding too much bass or seemingly enhancing the music. It’s basically presenting the music as it is mixed which is the aim of a reference monitor.Cons:No sub woofer output.It does not enhance the bass frequencies like most consumer speakers. Look for something with a sub if you like heavy bass. This is either a pro or a con depending on the user.It could use a few more ins and outs but for the price their great, especially if you can find them on sale or refurbished for a lower price. I ended up paying well below $100 and it’s been a fantastic addition to my closet studio.

Great speakers for the money. Works well either way my TV and my Bluetooth record player sounds is excellent and loud for the money it’s a great value. It’s very easy to use as well!

I first acquired a pair of these to add high quality sound to my desktop, then bought a set for a friend. Although my listening area system is adjacent in the same room, I find the convenience and location of small monitors to be more useful when just doing deskwork. These speakers are perfect for small areas, with mine spaced five feet apart and three feet from my chair. The price point makes them competitive with other brands in the $100 range.

These are perfect for what I’m doing. I have a little recorder. I play guitar through the ability to Bluetooth and play my guitar at the same time is amazing. This is a must buy for personal use in a little personal studio. This is a must have item and you cannot beat it for the price.

as with many audio components offered to you these days, your purchase with something relatively affordable is a throw of the dice. manufacturers seem to be more interested in the "receiving money" part of business rather than the "providing quality" part. if I pay close to $100, I should not have to worry about receiving something that at least "works". these speakers cut in and out at low volume input. that makes them useless for any type of DAW mixing or editing. that also, shouldn't be happening. otherwise they have a relatively flat response and the Bluetooth connectivity is pretty good.
