I am a lifelong GOLD TOE fan.I bought these higher socks for cold season warmth (that little extra) and to eliminate the lines that crew socks cause on my calves.These socks are comfortable, well made, professional looking, and durable. They do offer just a little extra warmth when its cool out, and they do not leave lines on my calves. I don't recommend them for hot summer days.I WILL buy them again.

I wear gold toe socks with my sport shoes and hiking boots. I wanted a different style to wear with my dress shoes. When I wore suits daily, I always wore over the calf socks like these. The mercerized cotton gives a finer, smoother look appropriate to wear with a suit or even dress trousers. One caution - based on my height and weight (which Amazon remembers from other transactions, it wanted to recommend the regular size although my shoe size is 13 or 14 depending on the style and the shoe manufacturer. I bought the larger size against their recommendation and I am glad that I did.

Darn it! Not big enough in the calf area.😔Will take measurements of calf before buying. I am sure these are good socks just not big enough

I have the polyester ones and needed a few more pairs. Wish I had bought these previously as they have a much higher quality feel for not a lot more money. Gold toe socks last forever.

I have an issue with blood clots in my legs and in the winter I watch a lot of TV so I sit a lot which is bad for me. These socks give me a little peace of mind as they are snug and go all the way up to my knees. They also go on easily which was a pleasant surprise.

If you're built like me (like a miner) and you have stubby legs that are 13" too short for your torso and those missing inches are below the calf line, and your calf funnels into your shoe in the form of a cankle these are great socks for you!Let's face some facts, when you're built like me your socks are undoubtedly wadded gently above your shoe several times a day. To give those that aren't stricken with these problems an idea of my struggles, think of a groomed Standard Poodle with those weird leg-fur things on their feet. Rejoice! No longer do you have to waste your time four times a day pulling your socks up, no... These socks stay up all day, it is like they're fixed to the leg no matter your calf circumference! These socks stay up so well that the end of the work day is almost burdensome, the dread of removing a sock that is half way up your leg and not able to be pulled off by standing on the sock toes and pulling one leg up may keep you up at night. These socks are not for the faint of heart.

Perfection in a sock
