Fun build. Not overly complicated. Easy to enjoy.

This kit went together real well. Excellent for the price. Looks great.

Pretty good kit just beware landing gear takes time. Reveal gives good instructions and several figures to detail, including pilot and rear gunner. Kit builds really well.

It’s an old mold from the 60s, lots of misshapen parts and flash, but that was mostly on optional ground crew (some looking quite hilarious as in the pic). Other than that not bad, and it’s the modeling experience that was the norm when I started in the 80s as a kid. For what it is and the price, it’s a great kit to get back into the hobby. Just don’t expect well fitting parts you don’t have to fill/sand. It’s the typical set from the past, I would have been perfectly happy with it as a kid back then and thought nothing wrong with it.

This is a good model kit for beginners who are looking for a little more challenge, but not complicated. Nicely detailed too.

The media could not be loaded. When I first opened the box and looked inside, I noticed the words "copyright 1960" engraved on one of the parts. This model used molds designed in 1960. This is the oldest model I ever built so far.Putting together a model designed in 1960 is challenging. The model was design to be played with. It had retractable landing gear, a detachable bomb, and movable rear machine gun. This made it challenging to put it together because the movable parts kept falling out before I glued it. Also the cockpit interior doesn't look realistic. It has just a plan blocky interior with no extra parts to make it realistic. I didn't like the fact that you are forced to add their figures in the model so you can hide the interior. But, once I finished the construction the model look realistic.If this was a recent model designed a few years ago, I say don't buy it. But, hey, this is 1960's technology. You can't go wrong with the price. For those of you who are serious modelers you definitely want to rebuild the cockpit interior, replace the figures, and putty all the voids caused by the injection of plastic into the molds. I truly enjoyed building and painting this model and I would recommend it for the beginner who doesn't care too much for authenticity. I also recommend this to the advance modeler who wants to challenge their skills to make an old school model into an authentic looking dive bomber from World War II.
