I I bought these spurs for my grandsons birthday. Smile on his face said it all.

I guess I got a bad set of spurs. The cheap rowel screw feels like it was made out of lead (not steel), as a result the spur rowel is not interchangeable. I used a flathead screwdriver which stripped the head of the screw, then I tried using pliers to twist it, and it still wouldn't budge. In general I would say this probably could have been fixed if the hardware on the spur was of high enough quality. But I am disappointed with this particular set of spurs.

These are excellent spurs! They do their job, and look very nice. I use them on steer riding, and they hold up nicely! I don't know if they would be able to take on bulls. ( They work perfect for steers, but bulls might make them snap.) They fit nicely, and don't rub your heel. Excellent buy! Well worth the money, and look like very expensive spurs! Definitely a five star product that I highly recommend!

Tough 1 is a terrible brand for spurs. The shanks don't even point the right way both of them point the same direction (same degree angle). Don't even waste your time on here buy your rodeo gear from websites like "Rodeo Mart" unless the supplier is trusted as far as where you're purchasing them from.
