Good for keeping track of expenses
I like the thorough list of categories and the updated categories like cell phone, internet etc which is more up to date from the dome book I have been using for years. I gave it four stars because there was a corner torn off on the back corner when it arrived. It did not affect the ability to use the book.

Not identifying all necessary billing
I like the budget book it has plenty of sections for different bills. Great size with the 30 days scale to help remember what day a bill is due and helps with budgeting and helps to show how much is spent in a month. I disliked the book because some of the bills identified are not the same bills I pay. That means using what is in the book or writing in the ones I need. This becomes messy and destroys the pages. It would be helpful to see the book include 2 sheets of blank labels that could be printed and peeled to help with adding the bills needed.

Good salad way to track your finances
I bought this book in conjunction with “zero down your debt” Holly Porter Johnson and Greg Johnson. I knew if I was going to take this serious and get back on track I wanted to have a place where I could budget and see everything written out in pen/pencil right in front of my eyes. Now, I understand you can get pretty much any type of notebook and replicate this. But I’ll have to admit I will definitely be buying a second book when this one is filled up. I love how simple and easy everything is laid out for me. Takes the guesswork out of a lot of doing it on my own. I am proud to say that using both of these books in conjunction and applying the skills to my life I have happily saved up nearly $300. OK, I know that seems like chump change and it probably is and it most likely is.But to me trust me that is a huge huge accomplishment to be able to save up more than $100 and pay my bills. It’s like *WOOT WOOT*

Deficient in categories
Poorly organized. It is deficient in some categories and redundant in others-medical has 4 categories. Difficult to find categories for utility, credit card bills. The categories aren't numbered so it is difficult to insure your recording in the right column. Unfortunately I purchased 2; I think I'll return the one I haven't used.

I really like this booklet
I really like this booklet. I am new to budgeting, and boy do I need it. My first entry was the purchase of this book. :) I printed out my January statement and began writing down all my January expenses. I don't mind that the spaces are really super small, so if that would bother you, I would look elsewhere. Another thing I noticed was the need to have a ruler, so you could write your entries in the correct line. Once the budget moves past the 15th of any month, you are writing on the opposite page now, and you have to keep the correct line with the correct expense, and with the spiral binding, it was a bit of a task with a ruler.Overall, I would say, if you are new to budgeting, and are needing something to help organize your thoughts in terms of the many expenses you may have, this booklet would be a good start. As I get going with this, I may look into purchasing something a little better than this down the line, but for right now, this is super helpful, and I like it.

Simple and complete
Simple and complete budget book, but lines are narrow. My suggestion to have the list of expenses in the right side as well. It’s hard to align them. But overall, good value for the money.

I Love It!
I love this Home Budget book. It's small, simple, but complete. I'm just starting to try to get my act in order, and so I ordered a couple of these. I ordered this one (which I love) as well as the Dome Simplified Home Budget Book. As soon as I'm done writing this review, I'm going to go ahead and send the Dome book back, because it's inferior (not to mention antiquated.)I'm going to start using this in January (aahhh, New Years resolutions) and if I find that it's a good fit for me, I'll probably order a couple more in the off chance that they're not available next year!!! I hope you like it too :)

Awesome budget book!
I love this book. Used it for 2 years now, and it makes the monthly budgeting so much easier! Because it breaks it down to daily purchases, you can easily see your bad habits (I.e. how often you get coffee). I really like the page at the front to see your net worth and compare it to the end of the year. Worth purchasing! The only thing I would change is I'd put the categories on the right page as well, as sometimes it's hard to track the lines properly for the expense categories.

Happy with this
Happy with this... The cover is a flexible plastic, which is probably the only thing I'd change... It feels durable and has a nice hand to it, but for something I plan on writing in daily/weekly, a stiffer cover might have been more useful... Not a big deal though... I bought this because of the layout - I wanted something that let me track spending on a daily basis in a spreadsheet format rather than a calendar grid format... Paper is average weight/quality, binding is metal, includes 12 monthly spreadsheets...

Very thin, cheap, low value.
Book cover is very flimsy and book is not very thick or premium feeling. Like a cheap child's notebook, but it should help do the job for budgeting and planning.

Handy
I purchased this for my daughter who has been struggling with her budget. So far, it seems to be working. I have adapted some information for my own use and find it helpful.

Mauvais achat
Je n'ai pas aimé, les cases sont trop petite et on ne peux pas écrire de note...waste of money. Les pages couvertures sont souple.
