Best Microwave Egg Poacher On The Market
I actually bought my first one at a thrift store in almost new condition. Have used it for five or six months to make my elderly father his favorite breakfast of poached eggs 3-4 times a week. Liked it so much, I found it on Amazon and bought myself one. Great for RV, tiny house or dorm room situations. Microwaves and eggs have not always played well together in my experience but this little gadget gets them right every time.

AT LAST A PRODUCT THAT LIVES UP TO ITS HYPE
I received the Microwave Egg Poacher and couldn't wait to try it. I love poached eggs and it is a pain to go through the prep work, boil the water, add vinegar, time it, then the clean up. Forget it. With this poacher just crack the eggs (2) add a teaspoon of water, and in a minute and a half you have two perfect poached eggs. It also makes great franks. A bonus that they didn't even mention. Totally satisfied and would recommend it to anyone.

Only one egg at a time
The problem with this egg poacher it only cooks one egg at a time... I had put two eggs in and one egg was perfect and the other one was still almost raw.

A big NOPE for this!!
You might as well just have a boiled egg rather than waste your time on this item. We followed the instructions to the letter and ended up with a flat boiled egg. We actually sent it back today for a refund. The good thing I can say is that the refund/shipping process was very easy.

Instructions need modification for normal-sized microwaves
Purchased this at the grocery store and came here to see if any else has had the same problem that I had.I'm sure that following the directions to the letter would allow one to make flawless poached eggs, but unfortunately I don't think think that following the directions at all, let alone to the letter, is going to be possible for many people.Maybe the directions and/or design will be updated, but the directions list how long you're supposed to microwave either one or two eggs depending on the wattage of your microwave, provided your microwave is between 600 and 750 watts. We have a regular built-in unit. It's 1150 watts. Best Buy lists 750 watt microwaves as "compact." 600 watts is a "dorm" microwave. Also, the directions are clear that you are to "cook on medium only." I haven't seen a microwave that had a "medium" in over 20 years. After several attempts (and obviously several eggs), I figured out that to cook two eggs in a 1150 watt unit, you put it at power level 50 (figured that was "medium") and cook them for about 1 minute and 25 seconds. My advice, check your microwave wattage before purchase and if you decide to get this regardless of your wattage, know that you're going to have to break a few eggs until you find the correct time and temperature at which to cook eggs.

Works Great - Good Value for Money
Headline says it all.

Works good
You have to remember to cook on MEDIUM power or your eggs will explode inside the the poacher. It took a couple of times to get it right. I cooked 2 eggs at 50% power for a minute and 20 seconds. Came out firm… 90 seconds did the trick…

Great microwave egg poacher
I really like this egg poacher, but you have to follow the directions. From what I've read of other microwave poachers, there is popping and exploding sounds. No problems with this one. And no BPAs, which was important for my family. I highly recommend this product.

Does not work for eggs.
No good for eggs-The lid blows off; egg all over oven. Never tried the hotdog part yet for I like my dogs boiled.
