Vista 10-inch Plastic Salad and Snack Bowls | set of 2 Clear

The bowls themselves are extremely nice. Crystal clear and seem sturdy. After searching for the right sized bowl I chose these. However, while the top and height dimensions are right, the width at the bottom of the bowls is too wide for my purposes. I wish they had shown a picture looking down into the bowl because then it would have been easier to judge the width. I was going to stack and store these inside other bowls so that they would be at the top, but because of the bottom width they don't fit. I wound up stacking my other bowls inside these. So as not to scratch them, I kept the plastic bags they came wrapped in and am storing them that way. Unfortunately, they're at the bottom of the stack now so it's kind of a hassle to lift all those bowls to get to these. Invariably, I just use something else closer to the top. I wish there was another spot to house them but we are space "challenged" in the kitchen. They are so nice that I didn't want to return them. Maybe when I clean inside the cabinet I can refigure the space so I'll be able to get to them easily. In any case, this is my problem and not a critique of the bowls. I can't actually attest to the quality since I haven't actually used them but they are good looking and a decent price for 2.

The media could not be loaded.  these bowls are simple and great, i ordered two of them. i used them initially for Halloween candy for trick or treaters. i filled one with ring pops and the other with plastic cockroaches. whilst dressed as beetlejuice with my wife dressed beside me as lydia deetz, i presented the children with the bowl with the ring pops, and asked them if they wanted candy. right when their hand entered the ring pop bowl, i quickly switched in the cockroach bowl under their hands and yelled "OR DO YOU WANT COCKROACHES MUAHAHAHAHA?" after they were startled i asked them which they wanted, cockroaches or ring pops? I expected them to say "ring pops please," but to my surprise I would estimate that 15-20% of them chose cockroaches. to the children who chose to take plastic cockroaches over ring pops, you are my spirit and inspiration for the world. this is why i let those children have a plastic cockroach, and a ring pop as well. a ring pop would be delicious for a short time period, whereas a plastic cockroach can scare your friends and mother for years to come. god bless those children.oh yea the bowls are very nice. clear and durable. great for looking like classy glass bowls without the threat of breaking.

I actually bought these to use as a baffle to keep the pesky squirrels off my bird feeders. I drilled a hole in the bottom to slide it over my PVC birdfeeder pole, and used a few screws above and below the desired height to keep it in place. Finally, I spray-painted it black to match the pole, and slathered a bit of vaseline around the outside. After several different attempts, this is finally the baffle that has worked to keep the squirrels at bay - a few weeks and counting, so far.For those interested in this as an actual salad bowl, we kept the second bowl (it comes in a pack of 2) for that purpose, and it works great for that. Sturdy, inexpensive, and goes through the dishwasher just fine too.

I've read some of the critical reviews and I think people expect a bit much out of something so simple. Yes, it's acrylic (i.e. a form of plastic) so don't use the heated dry or "heat boost" on your dishwasher. Heck...wash 'em by hand! They're easily cleaned. Easily broken? Well, anything subject to a four or five foot drop holds some a degree of probability that it will break. In general, these are great little bowls that show off their contents and appear ready to last the ages with my intended "use cases". I'll let y'all know if smashing my face into a bowlful of chips results in any harm...to the bowl that is.

So far I’ve only had these bowls for three weeks and they work well after I popped popcorn from the popper; I hand washed them and let them dry in my dish rack ( not quite ready to put them in the dishwasher yet); I’m trying something different to see how well one of my bowls handle it: I’m soaking some dry beans for a few days to see if gets real discolored or not; I’ll send another review when I find out; But so far I like the bowls; Then I might change my mind on the durability; Eric B

Perfect fruit bowl! I like being able to see what is in my fruit bowl and I feel like my family is more likely to choose a piece of fruit when it is looking them in the face. It came with 2 so one is on the kitchen table with fruit; bananas, apples, you name it, the other I put on top of the microwave with avocado and onions and squash pretty much anything that is not a grab and eat fruit. The size of the bowls are great I haven't run into an issue of room yet and we eat a lot of fresh produce in our home. Plus I really like that they look just like glass but they are actually a sturdy plastic maybe its acrylic ? Don't know, but it looks nice Ive had them at least 2 months now I wipe them clean with damp cloth and they still look brand new.

I like these bowls; I especially like that they came as a pair because they are so useful. We've used them as popcorn bowls, salad bowls, fruit bowls. I like their weight: they are light and easy to handle. They are also attractive and when we added oranges, apples, bananas, pears and grapefruit, the colorful presentation was very nice. Their documentation states that they can be placed in the upper rack of the dishwasher. I haven't tried this yet because they are so easy to wash in the sink & drip-dry. I'd recommend these bowls to anyone who needs a receptacle that isn't heavy, and is both utilitarian and attractive.

I wanted two plastic, well sized bowls to put in planting barrels. I planted perennials in the barrels and put one plastic bowl in each of them, filled them with water and put a solar pump in them for added interest. They worked beautifully! You can't see them - you just see the water feature (which was the point). They are sturdy and well made.

One of my bowls cracked after a few uses, not of good quality, something you would get at the dollar store. Not worth 24 dollars more like 2. I would pass on this item.

Its leaves water drop stains after wash nd doesnt look that great

I received these in January and they are already both in the garbage. They both cracked. Very disappointed and would like a refund.
