Medical Insurance Card and ID Card Scanner (w/Scan-ID LITE, for Windows)

I bought this scanner for my business and its been wonderful ever since. Easy install. Downloaded and installed the latest software and driver first before connecting the scanner. Software can be minimized and set for auto-scan and the folder to save to, so as soon as an ID card is placed at the slot of the scanner, it will scan in just a few seconds and pop up a scanned image with the option to input data it and then save it in the defined folder. This scanner takes up very little desk space, which is a premium in the hospitality business it was installed at. I highly recommend the 901 BizCardreader for quick ID card scanning.

I purchased this to scan government ID's for my DNA business. I work in a physician's practice and we have scanners for ID cards and insurance cards, so I thought that would be perfect for my own business, so I looked around for a reasonably priced scanner to scan exactly what I wanted it scan. It's easy to install and the picture is clear and in color for me to attach to my portal for my lab to process DNA samples.

The ID Scanner works well with our new windows computer. When the resolution is changed to a higher number the quality of the photos look great and are legible. This really helps the check in process in our office.

This ID Card Scanner is simple to plug and play into the computer. Easy to navigate the software and store scanned cards and IDs. Reliable and provides clear images for our files.

I just bought this and installed. It does scan but will not put info into text boxes as they show, you have to do manually. I have tried to call them, BUT THEY DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE ALL THEY WANT IS EMAILS. SENT 3 EMAILS FOR SUPPORT AND YET HAVE NOT HEARD A WORD FROM THEM NOW 4 DAYS. GETTING READY TO RETURN THE ITEM. i AM SURE IF THEY WOULD COMMUNICATE THEY COULD ADVISE AN EASY FIX, BUT THAT DOES NOT SEEM TO HAPPEN. BEWARE NO SUPPORT

First of all i would like to say what a great product this. It does what it says it does.I loved the fact that you install it without a cd rom. Now a days in companies they don't have those cd roms anymore.It was very easy to install, Once the scanner scans the id or driver license, it automatically saves it in a folder. You can always rename the folders and go back in them to delete or edit a picture.Here where i work at we needed something like this, because when we sell a high dollar item we have to ask the customer for a copy of their id. The walk back to the scanner was very long and the customers would wonder why we need a copy of their id. This Scanner is so fast we give the id or driver license back in less than 6 seconds.it has really made things more efficient and productive.Thank you for making/selling such a great product.

This will be a game changer for our office. It integrates with our EMR system. It was easy to set up even for this non techy office manager.

Our offices were trying to use a regular scanner for license and ins files. The clarity was not there like we needed. After some research we now have these buzzard scanners in all offices. It’s quick, clear, and doesn’t require much maintenance. Just a calibration every now and then! We love their ease of usability!
