This set of shelf-sitting mermaids is just perfect for my ocean themed bathroom. I was very pleased when I opened the package and took them out. They are of good quality resin that really does look and feel like wood. They are a good weight as well, not too heavy, not too light. They are larger than I imagined and the colors matched my bath decor so well. I also tried sitting them on the edge of my counter, on top of a decorative box in my bathroom, and even on the front edge of a basket filled with rolled washcloths... they work great that way too. They are quite adorable. I am very happy with them.

I ordered this item and only 1 mermaid came and not a set of two as advertised. I ordered a second time to see if maybe in shipping one got put in another box and again only one arrived and not the set. Really confused since reviews from 2012 (10 years ago) on this item all mention a set of two.

I bought this set to give to my niece for Christmas because she has recently become very into mermaids. It was difficult to find something for a 4 year old that wasn't too over the top so this was perfect. The mermaids are covered, not overly busty, and not in any sort of provocative poses. I was very please when I found these. When they arrived they are clean in appearance and the colors are more bold than I thought they would be, which is a good thing. I am considering ordering a set for myself because I like them so much!

I have been watching these two "girls" for a while and could not stand it any longer. I was surprised by the high detail and lightness of each one. Originally, I bought a set of these at a souvenir ship in Bar Harbor, Maine. When a friend saw them, she liked them, too. I bought her a set on Amazon. They are whimsical, well made, and fun.

Perfect for my widow sill in my mermaid themed bathroom. They are just the perfect slightest touch and not too "kiddie" looking and also not too "adult" looking either.
