KitchenAidAsteroid Pot Holder 2-Pack Set, Blue Willow, 6.5"x10"

Received these today and beware, they were no real KitchenAid brand. The tag is almost comical. The blue one is an older pot holder I still use - wonderful kitchen staple and I will use it until it falls apart. The yellow is the one I just got in the mail. I already started my return of it. Real KitchenAid products are quality, these yellow ones feel like they came from the dollar store! Save your dollars and wait for Marshall’s to reopen.

I will be honest- I am pretty sure the set I got is counterfeit. I have been using a set of KitchenAid pot holders for years and while I understand things change -the tag has weird block lettering (Same as in other reviews who share the same sentiment) and the quality is not even close to my old set. It’s disappointing. If we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic, I’d return them. I used them and they serve their purpose so one star for questionable potholders and one star for not burning myself. Meh

I'm not sure what's going on with this product... I saw a review someone posted about it not being genuine, but there were more that said they loved it... so I took the risk. I got burnt. *no pun intended...The sewn on label read KITCHENAID in all caps, not like other KitchenAid products I have. It was not as pictured. The mitt itself looked identical, but the tag was wrong. If I had paid $5 for these, I would have kept the knock off... But almost $20 after tax, I'd like it to be a genuine product. It's the KitchenAid quality and reliability that I am paying for... Not a relabeled Mainstays from WalMart...

These oven mitts do a good job of keeping the heat off of your hands.The problem is that they are far too narrow to be really useful. You can't move your thumb away from your hand making it very difficult to grab a pan and almost impossible to lift anything up with one hand.Even my wife, who has quite small hands can't use her thumb so it's not a "big hand" problem.I'll be relegating these to grill duty and buying a larger set for the kitchen.

I expected better from Kitchen-aid especially at this cost. Because of the partial stitch in the mitt (see picture) my small hand does not fit well and my thumb has no room at all. I cannot safely hold a pan taking it out of the oven. Waste of money and can't use. I rated easy to clean as I assume they will be but since I only tried to use once and had to switch to old pot holders, can't say for sure.PS: to above review - after using several times, I was surprised I could feel the heat of the pan through the mitt. Since there is some silicone, that was disappointing and could have burned my hand. I don't feel the heat when I used a doubled regular cotton pot holder. Back to the drawing board for this one in my opinion.

These pot holders are very handy and easy to use. They have a good grip once you put them on and they’re durable. They’re not super heat resistant for too long so I would be wary but they’ve done a really good job of not letting my hands be burnt so far. Great for stovetop cookware but just be careful when initiating contact and how long you hold something with this from the oven, good for quick maneuvers from the oven.

Arrived on time and well packaged. My hands are small and not very strong at 71, but these pot holders really hang onto a glass bread pan and let me tip the bread out without dropping the whole kit and kaboodle.

First purchase of this type of slip on potholder. Material is KitchenAid quality and thick enough to protect from hottest temps, as well as cheerful yellow.Somewhat ackward to grip but absolutely protects. Have small hands, so perhaps the smaller size would fit better. A KitchenAid fan, quality and appearance is excellent; new concept may require a learning curve!

I mostly use these for cooking pizza on my pizza stones. they allow me to grab and manoeuvre the stones easily. i thought i wouldn't like the stitched piece at the tips for separating your fingers but i actually have gotten used to it and like it now.
