Not what I had thought.
So, as with my dozens of books filled with poetry from India, China, Russia and all, to a land close to my native home- England...I was so excited to read this book from a land I've been to for four glorious days. Ahhh the Emerald isle.I lived in the 60s and 70s with bombs in the north... this book, From cover to cover is so very sad and bleak.Did No one really see that land and sea and villages and sheep..?And I'm used to very beautiful land too. And now living 30 years in canada- Georgian Bay!So grim and sad.
