CoastFL84 575 Lumen Dual Color Focusing LED Headlamp 2-Pack

I've been a fan of Coast headlamps for a lot of years. Finally decided to upgrade my (still working but getting old) headlamps, and purchased this 2-pack of FL84 575 Lumen Dual Color lamps. They are great! Brightness-wise, focus-wise, comfort-wise, price-wise and probably even otherwise... excellent upgrade! I very much like the twist focus adjustment that allows me to narrow down the beam. I can't speak to runtime just yet, but hey, they are battery-operated and all batteries run down. I use the original Coast AAA batteries that came with the headlamp, then switch over to eneloop rechargeables. After some frustrations with Amazon's incorrect product descriptions on other Coast model #'s, I am extremely pleased to have landed on these awesome FL84 headlamps!! The dual color feature is terrific, and I try to use the red when only low lighting is required, for all the obvious reasons. I have no reason for the green lights that some models have. Bottom line, I just ordered another 2-pack because while they may seem expensive, they are way cheaper here than anywhere else.

This light is very bright and has an adjustable angle for easy use. One thing to improve is to add cushioning where the lamp touches your forehead. There are two small rods that the strap loops through and they can press into your forehead.

These headlights are very bright and have 3 different settings. They come with a focus lens that is convenient. They are comfortable and easy to use. They are worth the price.

As a diesel mechanic, I like how bright it is when you first use it with new barrieres but the run time is only like an 1 hour on high. I do a lot of service calls & need light all the time. I recommend getting a chargeable head piece.

I have several different headlamps I've used over the years and this one is the brightest by far. Not the cheapest but definitely the brightest. It does not have an over-the-top-of-the-head strap (which at first concerned me) but the unit is so lightweight that none is needed. Vertical adjustment clicks are solid and positive and overall quality is very good. Beam focus is changed by rotation off the lens instead of pull-out/pull-in (which is faster) but other than that this light does everything I want and does it very well.

The high medium and low brightness are just about right in daily uses for me. It is also comfortable to wear. I also prefer the aaa batteries where I use rechargeable NIMH batteries, should last longer hours of use and light on the forehead !

These headlamps worked great. We wore them to go through The Sinks of Gandy in WV, a 2 hour trek through an underground cave. They were perfect for this. Fit well, bright enough to see well and comfortable.

Bright! Easy to use! Beam can be adjusted very wide, or very tight.Wide and Tight beam adjustment dial is just the right tension:too tight to ever move on its own, but not so tight you have tohold the lamp to turn it. 3 brightness settings and on-off areall controlled with multiple presses of a single easy to find button.
