Dragon Quest 1+2+3 Collection - Nintendo Switch [Region Free]

I was a little disappointed that there weren’t released as the original 8-but versions. That being said these re-releases were great. Well done.

Dragon Quest has been a personal fav since I introduced back in the mid 80's with Dragon Warrior (here in the US) but known as Dragon Quest in Japan. All three games are a part of the Edric blood line that has you fight to save the world from the Dragon lord,( the theme varies in name). Dragon Quest one is a solo journey to save the world. Dragon Quest 2 bands the three chose heroes to fight the forces of evil. Dragon Quest 3 has you the hero or heroin to form a group to again save the world. All and all they fun games and have some updated graphics and quality if life improvements that helps with saving and adventuring. However, they still have not added a quest log or journal so you can remember what you suppose to be going or doing like they have done in later games. So might need to take some notes.

I haven't played a Dragon Quest game in years then remembered how much fun they were. My eyes got bad and I could not see the handheld print on switch anymore. I can run this game through my TV set and actually read what is on the screen. Lots of fun for an old guy.

I have a ton of nostalgia for these games. I played the first Dragon Quest back when it was still Dragon Warrior. The newer graphics do the original style justice and adds to the overall experience. Thank you Nintendo!

Great delivery. This game take me back to when Dragon quest was released in the Us as Dragon Warrior on the Nes. Now they need to release the Zenithian trilogy if they're going to make them come in three. I want to be able to play Vi V and VI on the Nintendo switch on tv.

If the fact these are mobile ports of the first 3 Dragon Quest games does not bother you, then it will be fine addition to your Switch's rpg collection. These games played in vertical orientation on the phone ports, but having it on the switch means you can play them horizontally, which I prefer. Awesome collection.

The first 3 classic Dragon quest games all in one little package. Even though it says Dragon Quest (which is the japanese version name) , it is all english. Just a perfect transfer from cartridge to switch chip. A must for fans of the franchise.

If you are looking to play good ole Dragon Warrior, do not buy this. Rehashed and redone to look more like Hydlide's 16 bit lovechild than Dragon Warrior. I already brought it to a pawnshop during a Spring cleaning session.

Nothing wrong with the supplier, everything wrong with the game! These are phone games that are not optimized for consoles. the shoddy controls will make you quit in frustration within 15 minutes.

Definitly worth the purchase just kinda wished the first and second game got more attention instead of being old ports but the 3rd game was awesome.
