Duck Brand 282249 Deco Adhesive Laminate, 20-Inch x 10-Feet, Dry Erase

I use self-adhesive contact paper to back jigsaw puzzles that I've assembled. I can then mount them to a foamcore board (using glue on the back on the contact paper). This way I can keep a jigsaw assembled without having to glue it permanently. I can dismantle it later if I want to do the puzzle again.For this purpose I need a contact paper that's easy to work with, sticks well to the back of the puzzle and keeps the pieces from falling off, but doesn't leave a permanent residue when I remove it.I've tried several brands of contact paper, but I've had trouble with them sticking in the past. Some brands I've tried, the pieces just fall off it. The Duck Brand peel-and-stick laminate contact paper is the one thing I've tried that really works and it feels like good quality and it easy to cut and work with. It can be expensive though, given how much I use it. So I tried this "Deco" version with dots. I don't really care what the paper LOOKS like, since it is hidden between my puzzle and the foamcore board.This Deco/dots version is just like the peel-and-stick laminate contact paper. It works great and the price is way cheaper than the white or clear kind. I'm ordering 10 rolls!

I found this product while searching for a whiteboard for online teaching. The whiteboard pricing was not affordable for me so this proved to be a cheaper and functional alternative. I was able to apply by myself and still have enough product left over in the event that I need to reapply. Shipping was fast. It wiped clean. Colors showed up well. I used Expo markers. No bleeding so far. Buy it! You wouldn't regret it.

I had several uses in mind for this dry erase removable "laminate" when I ordered. Mainly, organizing items in our fridge, freezer, and deep freezer. I planned to label bins in the fridge, bins in the freezer, and the top of the deep freezer. I also ended up using it on the outside of our refrigerator.The adhesive sticks well to the bins and door bins in the fridge, but it isn't fairing so well in the freezer, likely due to the temps and moisture. It was worth a try though. It also sticks very well to the lid of our deep freezer (where I write, in categories, what is in the freezer so I can keep record without digging through) and the stainless steel fridge (where I've used it to write dinners, lunches, and breakfasts for the week). So far the dry erase markers erase cleanly. I did write on some with permanent marker where I didn't want it to erase (ex. headings like "dinner" or "veggies"). Typically you can "erase" permanent marker from dry erase material with nail polish remover -- we will see if this proves true if the need arises.Overall, it is a good value for a decent product. I think it could be a tad more sticky for textured surfaces, which is why I took off one star.

This contact paper surprisingly works well with plywood. I made a shelf out of plywood to add to my daughter's changing table and applied this contact paper which matches the theme of her room very well. It was easy to apply and the adhesive didn't pull off after correcting and reapplying the contact paler to the correct spot.

I teach first grade and bought this contact paper for my small group areas. I love it so far! The application can be a bit tricky (air bubbles tend it make it a challenge at times). So I recommend applying the contact paper to the surface a little at a time, using your dominant hand to rub the contact paper to the surface, while using your opposite hand to pull the paper backing from the paper at the same time. (I do hope that makes some sense.) It has been applied for two weeks now, and I have not had any issues with it peeling or curling at the edges. (I did use scissors to cut as much of the outside edge of my tables off as possible because I thought my little kids would "play" with it.) The contact paper itself is thick, and not likely to tear easily. I have shared some of my purchase with my coworkers, and they love it, too! I do recommend this product.

I got this to cover some old damaged barely usable bulletin boards that had been painted with whiteboard paint and parts had peeled off. If you take time applying I was able to apply it with almost no bubbles (it applies best vertically instead of trying horizontally) However all the parts that peeled off the old board, or couldn't be erased showed right through. It does not erase as well as a real white board but works a lot better than the old boards i covered up which barely erased.May work well depending on your application. In my case it got the job done for cheap but its by no means the best option.

I really like using Duck Brand or con-tact Brand for my contact paper needs. The adhesive laminate has grid lines on the back making cutting very easy. The application process is super simple.1. The surface being covered should be clean, smooth and dry.2. cut to fit, leaving 1/4" extra overlap on all the edges for possible shrinkage.3. Peel off backing to apply smooth from center out to help eliminate bubbles LAMINATE MAY BE LIFTED TO RE-POSITION DURING APPLICATION.4. Wipe CleanNow I apply mine by only sticking a small portion of the Adhesive Laminate down on the surface that I am covering then I slowly peel back the backing off in a downward motion and use a flat edge to keep things smooth and bubble free.I love that I can just cut, apply and instantly turn nearly anything into something new and exciting. I have decorated book cases, tables, mason jars. frames and even a shelf. The possibilities are endless.

I am a librarian, and I used this to cover the end/sides of my bookshelves! I label them with dry erase markers to help my students find the book/subject they need.Applying was fairly easy... you can stick, reposition, and re-stick if you do it right away. Then, when done, it sticks well.A great way to label, write, or draw on my surface! Now it's a white board!

I cut a piece off, the size of a piece copy paper. Already, I notice the quality is better than the ones I bought. There’s zero bubbles, and it sticks really well.I’m pretty impressed. I was happy with the cheap ones I bought, a few bubbles here and there... but this stuff is awesome.

Strong adhesive but the material holds on to the dry erase harder than expected. May be a bit porous. Still a good product though for the price. Would still buy again. You can remove the remnants with a bit of alcohol or other cleaning solution. But this is only for stuff that you left on for a while.
