Perfect little product for securing windows
This is a great set. It's incredibly easy to use/install and my window is completely secure. Nobody will open the window from the outside as it holds great. Recommend this highly!

I like the bars they can be a pain to lock in but I feel safe sleeping with my window open now

Cheap and easy to fall apart, Instead of these get some wooden dowels
I don't normally write reviews but these were so bad that I felt I had to warn others against wasting their time and money. These things easily fall apart and when that happens, there doesn't seem to be a way to re-assemble without completely breaking their shabby construction. I bought a total of 4 of them and 2 fell apart!Instead of buying these, just get some wooden dowels and saw them to the right length--takes a bit more time then clicking on Amazon but will actually work.

Great value
I can't speak to durability yet but the poles themselves feel substantial. I'm using these horizontally in my sliding door tracks. They were easy to adjust for length &, even though I tend to be stronger than I realize, neither has budged at all when I forgot they were there & tried to throw the doors open!! I look forward to a long, secure relationship with this product ;)

They are short shower curtain rods
That's essentially what these are, short shower curtain rods with the standard pressure spring mechanism inside of them. They twist to expand similar to spring-powered curtain rods, and don't have a visible bar locking mechanism. You just press fit them into the window frame.This is unlike other window bars I've had in the past that usually have a pin and series of holes that you need to adjust. I was hoping these were just a more customized sizing options to that as the last one of that style I got didn't quite work as a window bar due to the hole spacing being either just a touch loose or being nearly too tight to fit.

Safety first
I live on the first floor and like to sleep with my windows open from the top down. I’m concerned that someone could easily slide the window all the way down or open from the bottom up. These guards are perfect. Easy to install and easy to adjust. Highly recommend.
