Evergreen GardenClassic Iron Gazing Ball Stand

This is a very attractive gazing ball stand. We had just installed artificial turf in our yard so it was important to find a stand that did not have spikes going into the ground. It is lightweight and might fall over in a strong breeze but so far it has held up great. We are very happy with this purchase.

This is beautiful, however, the opening is too small for the neck of a mirror ball! Frustrating!!!

I purchased this to display a 10” steel gazing ball that I also purchased from Amazon. It took a loooong time to arrive, the inside diameter of the center tube of the stand is too narrow to accept the gazing ball stem that I purchased. I would not use this outside without staking or sandbagging the legs and using silicone to secure whatever is on top, nor would I recommend using inside without securing if you have animals or children who might bump into it. Easy assembly. No idea what I will do with it now, although I am considering slicing the neck vertically to open up enough for the gazing ball stem, which I fear would further weaken the stand. I will probably make it into a bird bath.

I love the design of this stand and the stability and weight of it. However it started to rust after one rain. I plan to keep it and repaint it because I love the design so much, but I should not have to rust proof an item that is designed to be outside and has only been in my yard for two weeks!!

I liked this stand when I saw in online but once I opened it and stood it up I liked it even more. I have 2 10" gazing balls, 1 fit in the hole and 1 did not but that might be the manufacture of the ball, not sure. None the less, I love the stand and would get another one.

The stem on the ball did not fit into the hole in the stand. If they would have the diameter of the stem on the ball and the diameter of the hole in the stand, it would make things easier. thanks

Waste of Money, poor design and built. Not even painted. Rusted metal is what I purchased.
