I ordered this twice because the first one I received was a very old product and had obviously been sitting on a shelf somewhere for a long time. The color was not right, compared the the same product I was trying to replace. It had the same number and name but was not the same shade. I think that it must have deteriorated over time. I agreed to replace it with a new order; however, when it arrived I found that it had the same problem. I tried it and found the color to be too dark, so it is unusable. I still have a little bit of my original concealer, so I know the ones I just got are not the same.I am not going to try to order it a third time because I feel that Amazon was not deliberately trying to mislead, rather whoever is selling this product may not be aware that it is defective. I wonder if Maybelline has discontinued production of this item and only old stock is available.

This concealer works well to mask the discolorations that I have on my face. I don't like to use a heavy, cakey foundation, especially not in summer when it is too hot to wear a face full of makeup. Instead, I just dab a bit of this concealer on my discolorations and it blends in nicely to hide them. It is also long lasting and I don't need to reapply it all day. The cream color works well for me and I am sort of pale. It also blends well with my skin and is not orangey like some other brands of concealer that I have tried.The product goes on in a liquid state and I let it sit for about two seconds. Then I quickly blend it by dabbing my finger on it and spreading the product around the discoloration.For blemishes, I apply the concealer differently if they have any redness around them. You know how a blemish can have the zit part and then in a circle around the zit is sort of red and slightly inflamed sometimes? Well, in that case I put tiny dots of the concealer circling around the redness and let it sit for two seconds and then blend it in upward into the zit by lightly dabbing the concealer inward with my finger. I read this tip in a beauty article once and it has really helped me to better cover red blemishes.Another reviewer mentioned using a q-tip to get out extra product before throwing it away, and I think that is a great tip. So, because of its great coverage and lasting power, I would recommend Maybelline's Super Stay 24 hour concealer.

This color matched my skin tone. It’s a little pricey here but I couldn’t find them at maybelline display anymore

The concealer received was marked cream in color but it was not the correct color. Be caeful with this company. The price is lower but you are not getting the right color.

Purchased for wife she say's: "dries to a powder finish, can be worn alone without powder. I applied a rice powder. Did settle into fine line, accentuated very fine wrinkles when worn with powder. Does fantastic job of concealing dark purple circles. Has a peach undertone, my skin is very pale olive, would've preferred a yellow tone instead. Hard to match tones over the internet. Is a good concealer but highlites wrinkles with powder."UPDATE: so I tried it again without using powder, this is really the best way to use it. I prefer to wear as little foundation as possible as I don't like the way my face feels with a lot of makeup on it. I use this concealer just around my eyes and with a little mascara and lip gloss I am ready to go. Great coverage. In summer it matches my skin perfectly, but in winter it's a little to orange.

I found this product from a review in a fashion magazine. The kind of magazine that usually is reviewing the very high-priced makeup products. But this was reviewed as being EXCELLENT if you need a heavier concealer. The color is slightly too light for me -- but the next one is too dark. I have a large brown age spot on my check. I apply this concealer, using the wand that comes with it, to this age spot. The goal is go have a smooth coverage on that spot. I don't use this under my eyes. Once it has been applied -- DO SOMETHING ELSE. Let this dry for a minute or so. THEN apply another concealer for overall coverage. I use the L'Oreal Crayon concealers. I no longer use foundation. I have a number of very light sun spots (yes, I hate them & I wish I had NOT gotten tan when I was much younger) & the concealer does a much better job of handling those. You can read my in-depth review of the crayons here on Amazon. After that I use a light powder -- VERY light, almost white -- and lightly, very lightly set the makeup. I do not try to do this on my whole face. I use THIS product on the large brown spot only. If you had a scar to cover, I would give this product a try.

I've been using this concealer for a long time now and I hope that Maybelline never discontinues it! It is inexpensive and does a superb job at hiding dark circles under the eyes. The coverage is thick enough to conceal all the darkness. I've found other concealers are much lighter in coverage and that dark circles will still show through. I will say, though, that after an hour or two after the Maybelline concealer dries, it can crease a little but this is easily taken care of by gently smoothing it out with your finger. It is a bit of a trade off on getting coverage (with possible creasing) vs. no creasing (but little coverage). I have to use a combination of two shades of this stuff to get exactly the shade for me. Overall, this is a great product and I will continue to use it as long as they make it.
