the specs state 65#s per wheel. if you use 4 wheels, i would use less than 260lbs.

Yes on every surface except cork, but that's true for anything that concentrates the weight on a small point. People have had varying degrees of success getting the dents out of cork. I have these casters on bamboo and no issue with damage at all. The wheels are rubber and although rather hard, nowhere hard enough to cause damage to hardwood or laminate.

Theese casters have a baseplate that reat against the bottom of the leg. the plate has four screw holes, aproximatly .23 of an inch wide.
