Mikasa Parchment 40-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service for 8

I'm in the process of SLOWLY purchasing my formal China dinnerware, place setting by place setting. (sometimes not even a whole place setting, because let's be real... China is stinking expensive.)-But, this Mikasa set is the perfect full formal dinnerware set to use in the meantime. The pattern is very elegant, yet simple. It will go with just about any table theme, as the color is neutral. The price was the first thing that caught my eye, then the pearlesque color/pattern.I love it and have already used it for 3 dinner parties since ordering.Attached is a picture of the entire place setting (minus the red charger, which you can also buy a set of on Amazon. (and no, I haven't been paid.))

Love this set. Exactly what I expected. One plate came broken, which would be expected from time to time from shipper handling, but I wrote to Mikasa and they mailed me out a replacement plate pronto. Got it within days. Already used for 6 formal meals and have gotten compliments. Would buy again.

I had found these at Macy's for double the price. Very happy with the set, was packaged well, and all 40 pieces were in good condition. It's an elegant set, can be classic, can be modern based on how you set the rest of your table. Feel like we got a great deal!

I have been looking for this pattern of China and it’s great to find it and it wasted as expensive as most of the other ones I looked at and I love it so much

Beautiful dishes. I liked the fact that it is a service for eight in one box. Packed very well. I love the pattern which can be used for causal and formal dining.

From the moment I unpacked this set, I was extremely satisfied with the elegant design. My husband who doesn't like things with so much prints and color on things, even approved of it. This set is a dishwasher safer but I don't recommend it place into the microwave as the platinum trim on the edge will spark and leave a damage to them. Overall, I am more than pleased with this set.

Unfortunately, the workmanship on this Mikasa China has slipped. Six of the dishes arrived with uneven or faint borders (the platinum edging on the rim and interiors of the plates/bowls). This makes them look faded and worn. The first set of these dishes that I bought several years ago had no similar problems. Sorry to see that the manufacturing and quality control have slipped.

Cute for parties or for Christmas gathering with good price too I will buy it again to have a complete set..Thank you

It’s not perfect but considering the price it’s okIt looks good, but there are some imperfections and although it’s listed as dishwasher safe I don’t think it would last long if it will be used every dayWe keep it for guests and so far it’s ok
