Looks good, effective in collecting water
Was looking for something to redirect or capture water from rain gutter on front porch. Had a pretty heavy rain & it filled barrel, overflow worked as expected. Easy to fill watering can, or connected to hose, ran out into yard to drain away from foundation. So far no leaks. Looks cute on porch. I need to determine which solution to keep water from getting slimy & gross. Especially like the wide opening for down spout. Super easy to put together. Would consider another one for backyard.

Excellent Rain Barrel
This barrel was easy to set up, appears to be of good quality and works as advertised. The day after I set it up there was a big rain and I was surprised at how quickly the runoff from the gutter filled it. The hose to draw water for use in the flower beds works great. If I needed a second barrel I would buy this again.

Love these rain barrels!
I absolutely love the whisky barrel look which goes well with my farmhouse decor. What's even better? They are exceptionally well made. Also, love the hose attachment with shutoff valve. Definitely worth every penny!

Good but not perfect
The media could not be loaded. Overall this rain barrel is pretty good and does the job. This is my first rain barrel and was shocked at how fast it filled up off of one of my house’s 4 downspouts. I'd buy it again. It’s not perfect though.Positives:-It looks pretty nice-It does the job well-The hose works great to fill watering cans, etc.-It was easy to install-Price seems pretty reasonable to meNegatives:-As others have mentioned the overflow hose is inadequate. I ended up plumbing in a better solution with black ABS pipe. Before my modification, with anything more than a drizzle of rain the overflow hose maxed out and the excess splashed out of the barrel and down the foundation of the house.-Mine had a minor leak at one of the seems on one of the ports that’s made for connecting to other rain barrels. I had to seal mine off with some rubber hose. It was an easy fix but should have been caught before it was shipped

Great product! Shipped quickly!
It was quite easy to get all set up. Seems to be of a sturdy material. We got rain here a couple days after I got it together, and it seems sealed up good, as I have not seen any leaks and it is retaining water. The wide opening at the top makes it so much easier to catch rain! Works well, and I can not wait for spring!! It shipped within 24 hours as well!!

Looks good, easy set up.
I set the rain barrel up this morning on a beautiful, sunny day, so, I will try & remember to update this review after we have had some rain. Setting up, attaching the hose and overflow pipe of the barrel was very simple. I placed the barrel on an old, upside-down planter to raise it off the ground, this might prove not to be a sturdy enough stand for it, time will tell. I purchased a downspout diverter, also from Amazon, which I installed today - I was undecided on whether to cut a hole in the wire mesh on the lid of the barrel to feed the hose into, but ultimately decided that was the more reliable way of keeping the hose in place, rather than just laying the hose on top of the screen. So, fingers crossed that once we get some rain this barrel will fill up and help reduce my water bill. The overflow hose arrives flat, and there isn't really a way of coaxing it into being round or *open* so it's hard to tell if overflow water will actually be able to drain out of it. I'm not too concerned at this point as the downspout diverter I purchased can be set to bypass the barrel, and in addition my yard slopes down and away from the house anyway, so hopefully water will not pool at the foundation. There were a lot of reviews that mentioned leaks in the rain barrel, again, time will tell as all my outside hoses are still turned off for the winter, so I have no way of testing the water tightness of the barrel. Keeping my fingers crossed! This barrel is fairly esthetically pleasing, not an eyesore in comparison to some. I have placed this in the back of my house, by my vegetable garden and compost tumbler, so how it looks is not too important, but, I do plan to buy more and put them at the front of my house & think these will look just fine.
