I would add a photo but I don't want to scare anybody away LOL. My hair looks like a cross between a porky pine and a pineapple. Years ago I used to buy aquanet which was cheap and did the trick. It's been gone for many years now and I tried many of the high priced gels that were at best ok. I saw this and said you know lets give it a try. It's inexpensive and looks like it should work. Guess what it did and now I could forget Aquanet. If you have a similar problem this is a must buy

Truth be told, i typically look for the best value with hair gels. I like the pumps, but this go around those were very pricey. My old hair gel had a pump so i transfered this into the pump for easy use.The way i use hair gel is i use it on wet hair then blowdry it dry. Its crusty if not combed out. Then finish it with some fiber putty so its not crusty. This has been my go to routine for years.This gel is strong. Drys crusty, but as i described above, comb it out and hit it with something less crusty. If i use all fiber or putty it is way too greasy for me. This combo works best in terms of hold and lack of greasiness.Nice product, good value. Would rec.

My husband and my teenaged son swear by this hair gel! Unfortunately, it’s hard to find nowadays in the store, but we’re happy that we can find it online through Amazon. No other hair gel will do, which is fine by me! LA Looks is more affordable than the fancier brands that don’t work as well (according to my husband and son), and it comes in a nice sized bottle so we don’t run out too quickly. In addition to my family being satisfied w/this gel, both of my “boys” get compliments on their hair quite often, so it looks like we’ll be buying this for many years to come! We like that it: holds all day, washes out easily, has a pleasing scent, is affordable, isn’t stiff, and can be wet again to be reshaped.

I’ve been using this exact hair gel for years. I have waist length naturally curly hair. It provides a solid cast that can be “scrunched” our after it’s dried. Provides get hold and definition without any flakes. Great product with an unbelievable price point!

This batch does not coat hair as well as previous bottles of this product. I find myself applying much more gel to my hair only to have it not hold as well. The product still works just not as well as previous batches.I’ve been using this product for many many years. I could apply a small amount the size of 2 quarters to my hair and brush through it 30 minutes later and it worked perfectly.

I've used L.A. Looks for years. When I start to get low in a bottle I almost panic! I have bangs that have 2 cowlicks going on, and as a result, I need to use product on them to make them look presentable. L.A.Looks does that for me. Might another product work as well? Maybe. Maybe not. But this product is not expensive, dries quickly, and is light on my hair. I couldn't ask for more.I recommend this product.

Works fine, holds firm

Watered down, it works fine to keep frizz down. When I go out in my convertible with the top down, I use it full strength and arrive at my destination looking like I just left the house.
