Valvoline is at the top of quality automotive products.
Valvoline is at the top of automotive quality in whatever they make. Their transmission fluid is almost universal. Practically every vehicle I know can use this type and brand of fluid. I ordered 5 gallons for a complete flush. My car holds about 4 gallons, and during the flush you will lose about a gallon in the process.I currently have 2 other types of fluid left over from buying and selling vehicles over the years. My thought is that no matter what I buy next, it will likely use this Valvoline mixture. Order extra and keep your car maintained.

Good for multiple cars
I've used this in a 2016 ford explorer with the standard V6, 2003, 2007 & 2008 Honda Accord. Never had a problem. I do drain a fill several times in a row until I get the nice red color. For my GM cars, I stick to the Dextron 6 in the Blue bottle. This has been over the last 10 years. I still own all the cars except the 2007 Honda because it was totaled. The Vavoline transmission fluid has not let me down yet.

Good all around ATF to keep on hand
This ATF is compatable with more applications than any other ATF that is commonly available to my knowledge, it is also reasonably priced. I’ve used it in many power steering, transfer case, and transmission applications. When using it in transmissions or transfer cases with auto 4wd I do add the recommended amount of LubeGuard synthetic ATF protectant. Probably not needed but it gives me extra peace of mind as that combination has worked great for me in the past fixing shifting issues.

Best ATF
I use Valvoline Multi-Vehicle ATF for my car, and I’m beyond impressed! This automatic transmission fluid is a game-changer—smooth shifting, excellent performance, and compatibility with a wide range of vehicles, which made my maintenance hassle-free. The quality is top-notch, ensuring my transmission runs like a dream even under heavy use. I’ve noticed improved responsiveness and no issues with overheating or wear. Valvoline’s reputation for reliability shines through, and this product exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a versatile, high-performing ATF.

Good ATF for many applications.
Valvoline MaxLife ATF works for many applications. I have used for many years. Last used to run 2 ATF consecutive drain and fills on a 2006 Mercedes with poor service history . Transmission was shifting fine with some shudder when cold.At the 3rd fill, Shell 134 was used so that MBZ additives would be present. No more shudder and super smooth shifts

Great fluid for a great price!
I have always had good results with this fluid.Anything that needed a DEXCON rated fluid (i.e. power steering, ATF, etc.) would get this stuff, and it has always performed satisfactorily. The problem is that locally prices have started to edge over $30 a container! These prices on amazon are great, as you basically get buy 2 get one free. This is some of the best ATF that's easily available, so it's a great buy.

It's the right fluid for a 2001 Honda Accord.
I changed the transmission fluid on my 2001 Honda Accord twice in 1 month. It's cleaning it out after 165,000 miles. 2 more changes and it should stay red for 60,000. I pump it out through the cooling lines in the radiator. It's very easy.
