Goodman R-410a GSX160361 Air Conditioner, Gray

I bought everything from goodman on Amazon, installed it myself, only paid for gas for licensed person. Everything still works fine!

This replaced an oversize heat-pump that broke 1/1/2018 right before nor’easters so we put in temporary propane wall heaters, ordered this in April for summer and will install a propane attic furnace from Goodman in October. We love it. It is quiet, economical and works so much better. I would have done it sooner had I known! Thank you

Working great and super quiet when operating. Time will tell ho good it is. So far so good!

3 years of normal operation and last night, at the middle of the heat wave, the compressor locked. Tried to reset with no result. Could be the dual run capacitor failed. It runs the blower but not the compressor, yet I am afraid that the Copeland compressor did not last more than 3 years. Unbelievable.

This unit with a new condenser easily cools my house as I my old was a 2.5 ton and never worked quite right. This unit keeps the temperature at the right setting and doesn't run all the time and will save the cost over time as it has the capacity to easily cool. Excellent product better than expected. Finally got a good system.

Been running it for about 2 months now works great no issues very quiet and cools down quickly!!!

Purchase this July 2019. It has been running amazing since. Saved thousands of dollars after getting rid of my old unit. No issues thus far

Had a Goodman GSZ14 Heat Pump and Air Handler system installed in my house. The units ran trouble free for about four years. Last week the house lights would randomly flicker, yesterday the Heat Pump stopped working. The repairman found that a wiring bundle was ty-wrapped to a coolant line and the vibration of the system wore through the wire insulation and shorted out on the coolant line and arced a hole in that line causing the coolant to escape and shut down the unit. The wire was on a high voltage circuit so every time it shorted out, our house lights would flicker. The repairman was able to repair the hole in the coolant line, high voltage line and reroute the wiring away from the metal components. Warranty? Sorry, coolant not covered, no real parts needed replacing so I was stuck with an $800 service call. This could have been avoided if the assembler at the factory had tightened the ty-wrap.
