Yeah it tends to smell when you make it but...
The water does tend to turn a slight green, weekly water changes solve that. The fish go crazy for it, I have goldfish plecos and minnows, and they go crazy for it, the minnows, they out swim the goldfish for it. Stick it in the fridge and it lasts once you make it, I also keep the dry stuff in the fridge for longer shelf life. It does smell bad, compared to other fish food but then again I am not a fish. Fish go crazy for it. This is by far the best fish food with high quality ingredients that your fish can feast on.I also supplement the fish diet with shelled frozen peas, live earth worms, frozen dried shrimp and blood worms and the occasional banana/cooked broccoli, cauliflower and regular tetra goldfish flakes for variety.

Great
Stinky but the Otos, cory catfish and minnows love it. Easy to make like jello just open the windows and air out wherever you decide to make it.

The perfect food for my tank of goldfish
The media could not be loaded. After getting into fancy goldfish keeping, I quickly learned not all foods are created equal. I moved from typical flakes to pellets almost immediately - great quality sinking pellets even - but was disappointed when certain of my fish still had constipation and buoyancy issues. Pellet "A" would work for one or two, Pellet "B" for the others - but who wants to try to separate greedy goldfish every.single.feeding - not me.I had heard great things about Repashy foods, but I was honestly afraid to try it. I thought it would be too complicated, too messy, and that I'd surely do it wrong. None of that turned out to be the case! It's very simple to make: boil water, measure the powder and water, quickly mix with a fork, and you're done. It sets up within minutes, and you can cut squares to whatever portion you want to feed your fish. I make it right in a plastic container so I can put the lid on and store in the refrigerator. The best part is - now all my fish can eat the same food. With no constipation, no buoyancy issues, no need to feed peas or worry and wonder if there's going to be an issue after feedings. It's nice to have a chunk of food for another reason too - everyone gets some. With pellets, it was like a race to see who could get the most. Now, don't get me wrong, it's still a race to the food - but they can all nibble on it, which makes me really happy knowing they all got enough to eat (even my slower teles who seem to find it more by smell than sight). See video! :)A side note, I really thought it was cool that the package came from Mr. Repashy himself - that's pride in a product, and it's truly something he should be proud of. I hope more goldfish owners make the switch like I did - your fish will thank you!

Great addition to a balanced diet, and my goldfish loves it
Easy to make, and my goldfish loves it. My goldfish is a picky eater (spits out flakes) and has a sensitive digestive system (tends to get "floaty" swim bladder problems when he eats dried pellets too often). I also feed him frozen food, but this is a great new addition as it contains more added vitamins. I think it's a great staple to incorporate in a balanced diet. One thing I will note is that it took my goldfish a few weeks to understand that this food sinks. He had been used to floating food for most of his life (either floating pellets or frozen food which initially floats), so he was very confused and disoriented when this food sank immediately. After it sank, he would look around, still waiting at the top of the water, as if to say, "Not sure what that was.... But, anyway, where's my real food?" I had to train him to search for the food at the bottom of the tank (even had to point it out and move it around with a stick to get his attention), and he finally got the hang of it and realized it was edible.

Excellent quality. Simple to prepare. Fish love it.
I use this in my Oranda goldfish tank. They are flourishing, happy and healthy! It takes just a few minutes to prepare using gummy molds, then I just let it set, toss it in the freezer for a few hours, then pop them out of the molds and store them in a tupperware container in the freezer. I also keep a weeks worth at a time in the fridge. I'm sold and won't use anything else as their staple diet. The quality is excellent, the fish and snails love it and it doesn't cloud the water at all like many of the pellet and flake foods will.

Snowflake got so much better with Repashy that she has returned to normal pellet ...
If you have a goldfish that struggles with swim bladder disease, this product is a must have. Last fall I was struggling with feeding my fish nutritious food and also giving enough peas for the fish to swim upright ((as opposed to upside down)). Then I worried that I was giving too many peas and the fish weren't getting enough vitamins and nutrients. This product provided the solution. My ryukin slept upside down under the water filter for over a year. Two weeks with repashy and Snowflake now sleeps near the bottom of the tank with the other fish.. right side up. Snowflake got so much better with Repashy that she has returned to normal pellet food and no more upside nights. The one star was taken off because I lost a fish shortly after I started using the product. When a couple of fish in the tank have swim bladder disease and then suddenly are able to pass everything, ammonia spikes will happen. Because of that, I lost Edgar. I was still doing my weekly water changes and the tank had been cycled for over a year. All levels had seemed normal and stable for a long long time. It didn't even cross my mind that the ammonia would spike like it did. I wish there had been some sort of warning either in the reviews or on the packaging. Edgar was a 7 inch calico oranda.. gorgeous fish. So this is a warning to check your levels if you start using this to feed your fish.Otherwise, great product. Some reviewers complained of the product being stinky. On occasions, my tank would smell like it but overall it's not bad at all.

Amazing product for my goldfish, and amazing seller!
Just great! I give this to my goldfish and they love it! It's super easy to make and store. Just use the powder, some water and (in my oppion) to get the best result a microwave (not necessary though). Efter that but in the fridge and the portion will last up too 2 weeks in there. A little goes a long way. Repashy Soilent Green The costumer service was AMAZING! When i orderd and got this, the seller sent me one that was way smaller then what a paid for. I wrote them and they replied the SAME day! appoligised and offered to send me the correct one free of charge, and i could keep the smaller one as well which i haven't even gotten though in these past 4 month.
