Mystery Ranch 2 Day Backpack - Tactical Daypack Molle Hiking Packs, Forest, L/XL

I have been using the 2DayAssault for about 60 days straight. My biggest criteria for purchasing this bag was the rear pocket zipper for the laptop. I have a 15" MacBook Pro and it fits easily in the laptop pocket with easy access from rear pocket zipper or through the top. I use the bag daily for work but I have also taken two 4day weekend trips with nothing more than the 2DayAssault. I am a big guy, 6'3" around 220lbs, this means my clothes are big; the 2DayAssualt had more than enough room for all my clothes to last for 4day/3night trip, to include the laptop, cables, toiletry items and sandals. Both my trips involved short airplane rides and the 2DayAssault fits nicely into overhead storage, no need to check-bag. I have been rained on several times and nothing inside the bad (laptop) has ever gotten wet. The zippers appear to be very durable as well as the straps. I only encountered a single issue: when packed light (just my laptop) and walking to work, the bottom sides of the bag would rub my back. There is a removable foam insert in each corner. Once I removed the inserts the problem went away. This is a great bag and I would recommend it to anyone.

I've have many packs, and this is the best yet. I love the Y zipper so I can get in and get what I need without emptying it out. Very comfortable and fits everything I need!

Not the typical cheap tactical bag with 20 pockets that makes it difficult to find your gear when needed. This is by far my favorite travel bag that is easy to use and with Mystery Ranch quality.

looks white as snow under nods. not the tactical backpack you think it is. MOLLE doesn't make something tactical, and you will regret every one of the dollars you saved over the higher end models from Mranch the minute the nods come out.

The construction is as durable and good as advertised (for once!). This pack has a great amount of room for a smaller pack and is really comfortable, even for a tall guy like me with bulging shoulder blades. I love the zippers because they operate smoothly and don't feel like they are going to break or get hung up on themselves. I'm nervous about putting anything of importance in the bottom web pockets as stuff can still fall out, but i've yet to find a pack that wasn't like that. I really do like this product. Well designed with different compartments and easy access. Bought it for use during camping and on the range, will use as a travel backpack with computer as well, clear bonus.

You get what you pay for, still working on breaking it in but so far it's holding up. This is my hunting, travel and range bag as I do a lot of shooting courses. The two day is big for what it is, with the right packing you can make this a few days of gear easily. Two things I wish it had/could do. I wish it had strap retention bands so the excess isn't flopping around. Easy fix for me, I just used some tape. And would be nice if the waist belt was stowable.As far as an EDC bag, if you work outside for a living then yeah, for commuter to work in a city, go with one of their smaller ones like the urban.

I took this out on a ten mile hike over a somewhat short mountain. It performed adequately. Overall, I feel like I'm a bit large to use this pack. The straps of the waist belt aren't sewn in, just threaded through buckles, and both ends pulled free while I hiked. I rethreaded them a different way than they came from the factory, and they held better.But the weirdest thing is the Y shaped zipper. It seems to work, it's just so different from what I expect out of a zipper.
