PeugeotMen's 14k Gold Plated Vintage Leather Dress Watch

I wasn’t sure what I was really getting but the sale price was great and the brand has a good reputation. The watch looks very dressy. Gold markings on the black dial have good contrast. No lume of any kind. The sun & moon “phase” is really just a novel complication at the top of the dial and not reliable for the position of either celestial body during the day or the month. The leather strap is black with a bit of alligator skin texture. It is comfortable to wear for my large wrist and the entire watch is a fine time piece for a low price.

Very nice watch, has a strong glass - finally got a scratch but it took some hits. Comfy, even with a big wrist. The sun and moon rise and set is a very nice and fun touch. Love it!

This watch is beautiful. I had the same exact watch 35 years ago from another brand when I started working, it finally stopped working and I needed a replacement and this is perfect.

I have long been looking for a moon phase watch to replace one which was destroyed by a local jeweler while changing the battery. For some reason they are near impossible to find in women's watches, while there are quite a few choices for men. Peugeot is one of a few companies who have offered a moon dial over the years.The celestial dial rotates every 24 hours and so, obviously is not a real moon phase. It is however a very nice watch at a pretty remarkable price. It is a nice size, easy to read and to wear. I would still like to find a real moon phase, and have near given up the quest, thinking I must be able to put one on my ASUS ZenWatch 2 Android Wear Smartwatch - 1.63",Rose Gold case with Taupe Leather band (Discontinued by Manufacturer) (yeah, I bought the Men's... because it has better battery life, and a speaker {sigh}).. Why doesn't Peugeot off a moon phase for women, or even in a 'unisex' watch like this? They do not misrepresent it in the description. Likely there are almost as many people who view this as a moon phase as who call calendar watches chronographs. It is not fair to blame Peugeot if it is ijacurately described by any given reviewer.The case still feels a bit thick to me, and at 8mm is, compared to most of the watches I have, but is a far cry from the hulks of the past few years. I do not usually comment on these things, but the quality of hte band is just wonderful. It would likely cost almost as much as I paid for the watch to purchase a band of this quality.While assembled in China, it has a reliable Seiko movement, and is backed by a lifetime warranty, which is pretty hard to beat.Part of me says that at this price it really is worthy of 5 stars, but yes, I would LOVE to see a real moon phase, preferably 3-5 mm thick ;)

I have had this watch for about a week now and survived a swimming, a canoe tip over, two thunderstorms, and an obscene amount of bug spray. Still works like new and can’t even tell it’s been worn.Update: watch band has lost all color and is now light tan after 3 months of regular wear. Watch itself works fine but the band is discolored to a very light brown is kind of sticky. I think the paint has worn off.

So loud and noisy. The ticking sound is loud enough to hear from the other side of a room. I'm too embarrassed to use it.Pretty and keeps time but the noise!

Very elegant watch for the price. I wanted one with roman numerals and wanted a Sun-Moon phase watch to replace a small dial,low price 15 year old one I had. I am very pleased with it as it is dressy and fits well. It is very masculine but not so large on my small wrist. It is very hard to find sun-moon phase watches with the above criteria. Could not be more pleased with it.

Nice vintage look. It is an okay watch for the price. Strap and buckle seem a little cheap. The edgeson the ends of the bezel where the pins connect to strap are also kind of sharp. Not a problem when wearing it but you have to watch how you pick it up. If younhave small kids, do not let them near it. I wanted to lime this watch but I cannot. I like the dial and that is it.
