good design & classy appearance
five stars as an assembled product ..... good design & classy appearance.....( I spray painted it with Krylon Fusion to better match my home brick color )-- Although not enuf to detract from 5 star rating, I should mention some reminders :----1. Take the time to read & understand ALL the assembly directions before starting to put together..... even so, it is not a snap, and unless you glue all joints thoroughly & pressed ALL the way in correctly, you are going to have final fit & final appearance problems, cause even tho the glue does not dry right away, the harder it is to make the proper fit. (I used clamps on long bottom piece seams).2. In case you have a brick home like me, you may want to consider using a 3/4" 'backing board', between planter box & metal support brackets before attaching to brick wall under window. - The board of course is completely hidden by planter, and the offset allows the planter top opening to remain completely open & not partially covered by brick sill under window. -- Gary Moyer --

Very Nice-Looking
The planter looks VERY nice, and being vinyl, it cleans up easily and will stay nice and white forever (yay!). It is also solid, stable, heavy-duty, so I don't see any fear of bowing AT ALL. However, assembly wasn't as quick and easy as I had hoped - The adhesive sets up pretty fast so while you're trying to get things lines up, fit together and clamped, it is already hardening. And then the other side doesn't line up so you have to UNclamp again to manipulate the other sides into place... *sigh* My advice is DON'T do it all in one sitting, even though it LOOKS easy.

this arrived very fast and in perfect condition. I had no trouble assembling the windox ...
First off, this arrived very fast and in perfect condition.I had no trouble assembling the windox box with the glue. (it did get a little hard to squeeze out toward the end but it was no big deal)The glue holds very well, so don't worry about it falling apart later.I have vinyl siding on my house, so I called a local handyman to install this for me.He recommended putting a 2x6 board against the house and drilled it to the siding using what I think he referred to as "Dex screws"Then, he drilled the brackets directly onto the board which gave it a much better feeling of security than had he drilled the brackets directly onto the siding.I was very please at how sturdy this is and how it turned out. If you don't feel comfortable installing this yourself, look up a handyman online and let them do it for you. The installation process took about 30 minutes in total. Also, the box can easily detach to store for winter months, but the PVC material is great so it can easily withstand the elements if you want to leave it out all year. I live in Pennsylvania.I will attach a picture of the finished product.

Pretty window box
The media could not be loaded. We added this to front picture window. It was a little hard to install with just a regular drill into the concrete/brick. My husband had to go buy a hammer drill to install. Well worth it though we love the look and the plants are thriving in their new home.

Love our new window box. Went together quickly and easily. Tried to include a picture of the window box installed and planted. It is beautiful!

You have to assemble this model (PITA)
Itâs okay. I bought a Fairfield, which is a much better models. For one, that model is a one-piece box. This one, you have to assemble with the included glue. The brackets donât have the molded areas like the Fairfield version.Needless to say, the Fairfield is a much better model than the Yorkshire. I would go with that model.

Beautiful but challenging
Beautiful but challenging⌠this window box is elegant, sturdy, and an asset to the front of my house. However, as a single older woman, it was not easy to put together. I ultimately managed to put it together, but it was a bit of a challenge. It is very heavy and putting it together must be precise for all pieces to fit properly.

Great design
We purchased both the 6 foot and 4 foot window boxes. They are great design with the "self" watering bottom and well made. It takes a little bit of effort to put them together and it is best to have two people for the larger ones.
