Bucilla Stamped Quilt Blocks, Butterfly

The colors that are listed for this quilt are a tad, young, I guess would be the best word choice, so I spent time in at the fabric store staring at thread options until I found which colors would best suit my taste and go along with the colors in my home. Once I got that taken care of everything else has been a breeze. It's easy to stitch and looks great. When I'm finished with the cross stitching my sister and I are going to choose the background fabric and then she's going to work her sewing magic and turn it into a beautiful quilt for me.

Pretty pattern. I've made these quilts before and enjoyed the results so I had no qualms buying another from the same company.Unfortunately the patterns from the cross stitching itself seems like an after thought. The stamps sometimes show only half a cross while others are uneven rows.The stamps do not match the pattern on the instructions.Fortunately I am seasoned at cross stitching and I am just winging it.Hopefully the results are just as nice in the end as the photo :)

If you want to waste your time because you have nothing better to do. Then this embroidery panel is for you. I completed 3 of these and when I washed them the blue pattern dye did not wash out. Personally I have never heard of this. It totally ruins the look of the whole piece. Bucilla this is a basic feature. Really you had one job.
