Awesome Lift Kit from RC - Smooth Ride
Awesome lifting kit for a Toyota Tacoma 3rd generation (2019). Two thumbs up ~! Suspension ride feels like stock or better, 3 inch lift with 4 RC shocks gave a smother ride on my Tacoma lifting it and leveling it without affecting controls arms or joints geometry.

PLEASE READ
Anyone reading this is probably where I was a month ago. We all hear about RC but the price is just too good to ignore. This is the first lift I’ve done out of probably 8 where the ride was noticeably worse than stock after install. I unfortunately did not measure my net gain but k drove for a week, then added a stubby bumper, roof rack and rails. I noticed considerably more rubbing after the weight was added. I’m on 285s with +5 offset. I will 100% need to do body chop - as this truck will be used quite often on trail. The install was easy. Quality is good. It’s clearly not garbage. Bit truthfully chances are high that I’ll be going to a more highly regarded 3.5” option in the near future.Oh, and you’re crazy if you don’t get UCA’s. These lifts should not be available without unless your camber jacked up. I went with KSP forged. That’s a horrible install but I consider mandatory with anything over 2”

Lifted my truck as stated in the description.
Lifted my truck 3" at stated in the description. Install was easy for me, but if you are not mechanically inclined and do not have all the tools available, take it to a professional. Truck rides and looks great, but the 6" lift would have been the better choice for me.

Bad installation instructions
This is a great product. Delivery was fast and all parts were received. I did the work myself and most of it went okay. The rear took 45 mins. The front however was not as easy. Everything went fine until trying to follow directions on installing the preloaded struts. The instructions do not explain that you have to disassemble the 2 bolts below the wheel hub and loosen the lower control arm cam bolts. Once that happens and you can get the strut in, it's gravy. Getting all that back together is not. You have to use a jack to compress the strut a bit to get the hub bolts back in. It helps also to use a tow strap to ratchet all of it back together a bit. Its a pain the ass but once you get it all done, it's worth it.I'm sure this is easier if you are not doing the preloaded struts but the option of using spacers didn't seem like such a good idea to me.The other thing I didn't appreciate is the instructions calling for the use of a Sawzall on the driver side skid plate bracket. Like really? How long is that going to take to cut a notch out of hardened steel? Use a cutoff wheel you dope. The end result is pretty good for a DIY kit. I am impressed by the shocks and struts. They are visibly much better quality than stock. The ride is stiffer than my 70k mile bilsteins. I'm sure that will pass in time. Going over speed humps is very different now.Overall I am happy with it. I never want to do that again, but I'm glad I did it myself. I feel more in touch with my truck.
