Coming Clean
OxiClean is a great product. While it has many uses, I prefer to add it to my laundry. The product removes stains and dullness from clothing, towels, and napkins. Whenever I do laundry, I add a scoop, which is probably too much, and then add detergent and rinse aid (no extra rinse). Success! I highly recommend this product.

Product works well but packaging inferior
Oxi Clean works well to minimize stains. However, the container was open when I received it and about 2 cups leaked out into the box and all over my other items in transit. I had to vacuum it up. Will not order Oxi Clean from Amazon again.

Way better than Biz + SoiLove helps a lot
I have used a pre-soak called Biz for probably 40 some years? The last time I bought it, it just didn’t seem to work. So I figured it was old and I bought it again. Nope! Maybe fabrics are different now (you know they are) and Opti-Clean works so much better as a presoak. My only dilemma is after it has soaked for a while, the water looks dirty so I just don’t feel it’s going to be effective to add my Tide to that same water and wash it. Yuk. So what I’ve been doing is after the soak, I put the clothes through the spin cycle to get rid of most of the water. Then I take them out and put them in a plastic laundry basket with a plastic bag in its base. Then I run new water in the washing machine, put the Tide in to dissolve and let it swish around in the “small load” setting on the washing machine. Then I let the machine fill all the way up with water and while that’s happening, I put these pre-soaked items back in the washing machine and shut the lid. And let it run its course. Most of the time the Opticlean gets the dinginess or stains out. If it doesn’t work the first time, I add some SoilLove to the collars, sleeves or specific stains and wait for no longer than two minutes before putting them in the filled washing machine. And then I wash them again. (I have to add that I had a light blue Disney shirt that had been sitting in a box for years and had brown stained sleeves and collar and just looked nasty. The opticlean helped it a lot and the SoiLove brought it home to almost look brand new. Just don’t let SoiLove set on your clothes for more than a couple minutes!

Love!
I use oxiclean for everything! I don’t know how I ever lived with out it. It is so versatile and actually works in every application it is used. While there are still chemicals in it, it’s a lot safer than chlorine bleach and without that awful smell and less abrasive to your belongings. I use it mostly in laundry as a booster or pre soak but you can use it to clean, and sanitize around the house it also works great for Carpet, rug or upholstery cleaning. It is a little pricey and I use it so much I go through a tub in a week or so but it’s so worth it!
