I liked that it was easy and desirable to use. I really liked the difference in the taste of our Potato Pancakes from using this product instead of flour. The recipe suggested using potato starch but said we could use flour instead. I told my husband that I could taste the flour and that the potato pancakes didn't have the potato flavor I was expecting. When we received the potato starch, we made a different batch of potato pancakes using the potato starch this time. The flavor was superior to the flavor of the potato pancakes with the flour.

Tastes great. Made karaage chicken and it turned out wonderful. Just a personal opinion but do not substitue corn starch, there is no comparison.

Who knew? I always thought of corn starch as corn flour, and assumed potato starch was the same as potato flour. Not so. I've been eliminating grains from my diet whenever possible, and experimenting with different things for dredging meat, thickening sauces, and so forth--all the zillion things wheat flour is used for. Finally, I figured out why some things turned out well, while others didn't. Now I have both in my pantry in small quantities, and store both in the freezer to keep fresh.

Use this in a lot of recipes, tastes great. Will buy this again!
