Sauder Cottage Road Armoire, Soft White Finish

This is a great looking armoire! It is sturdy and a quality wood product. The clothing rod is strong and it holds several women’s suits. The drawer is spacious and strong. The top looks like wood and the rest is white. It’s shorter than I expected but it holds a fair amount of clothing. The inside cabinet and drawers smell good. It is very heavy so a very strong person or two people are needed to carry it.Amazon Home ServiceI paid $89 for assembly and the two guys did a great job assembling the armoire.My only issue was that one of the Amazon Home Service assembly guys spent lots of time complaining and lecturing me about how I was supposed to move the disassembled armoire. He was refusing to move it but the other guy decided to take pieces out of the box and move them which was easier than moving the whole box. Even after the pieces were moved this guy insisted on telling me I should’ve read the assembly details. He said I should’ve paid extra for them to move the armoire to another room.I am a woman with extensive back, hip, shoulder and wrist problems. I paid for two strong men to assemble my armoire and it seemed reasonable to expect they would move the heavy armoire. I do not recommend paying for the Amazon Home Service assembly if you are incapable of moving a very heavy item.After they left I read the details and I will avoid ordering heavy items from Amazon that require assembly. I do not want another complaining assembly guy in my house and I cannot move heavy items. It would be easier to pay a few bucks extra for a furniture store to deliver an assembled furniture item and put it exactly where I want it without complaint!I highly recommend this armoire!

The cabinet overall is fairly good quality, but the package is horrible. No foam or paper or anything between panels, so I did have a few scratched pieces. Nothing worth shipping back over, just wish they packaged a little better

We took a chance on ordering this little armoire for my toddler son’s room. We knew it was presswood and with a little wild boy we knew it might not last long but he didn’t have a closet and we needed something to organize his clothing and shoes. It’s so perfect and we’ve had it since 2021 and it’s held up so well. Very happy with this purchase.

Was so excited to receive this and was terribly disappointed. Item is cheaply made fir the price, difficult to put together, and basically a piece of junk. I would return or like a refund if my money, but honestly don’t want to go through the frustration of having to deal with taking the whole thing apart even though it looks horribly cheap and to haul it because it’s so heavy. Do not buy, terrible disappoint overall.

The consistent issue with this brand is that the doors don’t level, close or stay properly. It’s ok, we need it, so we are keeping it, if you want to return it you’ll have to bring it yourself to the store. Assembly was ok, my husband did it and the doors were the issue. It looks nice/decent. One inside part came chipped so I wouldn’t recommend it.

If you take your time, follow the comprehensive instructions and make sure you have space, you really can't go wrong. This is well worth the money. I was impressed at how well it went together and it's exactly how it's described. What a relief to NOT end up throwing things and swearing. Lol.

I almost didn’t purchase this armoire because of the reviews saying it was difficult to assemble but I’m glad I did. It took about an hour to assemble but the directions were straightforward and easy to follow. Very happy with the finished product. I would definitely recommend purchasing!

What a nightmare. When this product was delivered, the amazon delivery driver required my husband to help him unload it off the truck. When we opened it one of the side/leg pieces was completely cracked down the side. Amazon only gives you the option to contact the manufacturer, so we are waiting for that while all the pieces are unpacked. Then, when the doors were placed on they didn’t match up, and were uneven. We had to get creative for them to match up. I guess you get what you pay for, but for $200 I still expected a bit better.
