National Carburetors ND4477 - Chevy GMC Rochester Quadrajet Computerized Carb.

I admit I was highly skeptical of buying a rebuilt carburetor. Q-jets are notorious for either working well... or NEVER working. There's no in-between. So I took the chance, keeping my fingers crossed. I installed on my '87 Monte Carlo SS, with 86k miles. It took an hour, swapping some parts and brackets from the old to the new. Triple-checked everything, and after 10-15 seconds of cranking it fired right up, was smoother than the old, dying carb. After setting hot idle, took it for a test-drive; excellent power, secondaries were perfect, it's VERY smooth idling, and now starts at the turn of the key. No stumbles, no issues whatsoever. Before this I'd been seriously considering replacing the engine, but now I'll leave it alone for a while. EXCELLENT VALUE, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! 😎

I haven't started the car that I bought this for, but I was very impressed by the quality of the assembly. It looked like it was brand new, I didn't see any marks from when it was previously installed on another engine. It did get damaged during shipping, it looked like the carrier had dropped the item and the electric choke was broke. I called tech-support and they had a new choke sent out the next day. For the price, I couldn't rebuild my original carburetor and replace all of the items that this one had, plus this one looks brand new. All of the vacuum ports are identical to my original.

As you all may know Quadrajets know to be a problematic carb. These guys had made all the modifications so you dont need to. We bolted this right on a original 84 z28 this with a fresh tune up and the baby fired on the first try and ran fantastic. Price is very great too. If I need another I know where to go.

This carb is nice it came in with 1 vacuum hose inlet broken but it was ah small fix and it got my 83 Chevy caprice running strong again it doesn’t like the cold starts but it works it out...updates April 2 2019 I’ve noticed that gasket want leak some it stays moist and smell like gas but not strong raw gasoline

This product was perfect. Well packaged. And works perfect. I couldn't believe once I received the item 2 weeks early perform perfect and the price was really low compared to the ones from other competitors but works perfect.
