I'd give it a 4 out of 5 if it ...
I'd give it a 4 out of 5 if it weren't for the following:1) Two wood pieces supporting the underbelly structure had cracks: one was a hairline crack (not sure if it'll give one day), and the other, a sizeable piece that ultimately fell off, and I had to glue back on since it was a piece on a block through which screws were inserted for structural integrity.2) Lots of restrictions I wasn't aware of: a) You can't place hot items on the table (even though it's a DINNER table) (nuts) b) Liquid can't remain on surface without staining the table (even though it's a DINNER table) (nuts) c) You can't use commercial waxes and polishes (affects coloring of wood) d) You need to avoid direct sunlight or it will fade d) Apparently if kids write on the table, there's a chance it won't come off f) You can't ever use glass cleaners on the surface or it will attack the finish3) A small ding on the middle sleeve.4) It bows a TAD in the middle with the middle sleeve included.5) Despite the description, it "is" heavy, but it "is" a table, so just make sure you go in realizing that when assembled, you'll likely need another person to flip it right-side-up.

Made in Thailand
Really love this table. Fits in a small spot in our kitchen. It is a heavy piece of furniture. Legs very sturdy. The top is too. It was very easy to assemble. I thought the price was good but I would not have paid the $600 plus “regular price” As the description says, It is made of wood, processed wood and a veneer for the top. At least I think the top is a real wood veneer. It is not “fine” furniture but I think it will last a long timeMy only regret is that it was made in Thailand. Shame on this company for not having their products made in USA. I would have paid more

Nice table!
Just what I wanted! We have a smallish eat-in kitchen and wanted a table that wouldn’t overwhelm the space but could also be extended for occasional big groups. Forget about finding that in our local furniture stores—everything was massive. I put the table together pretty easily in about an hour. It was well packed and padded, and only one part on the underside was damaged during delivery. A wooden edge where a bolt would go had chipped off. It would have been easy to fix with wood glue, but it didn’t affect the assembly and wasn’t visible so I left it. The sliding mechanism to pull out the table and insert the leaf works smoothly, and the table feels solid with both the leaf in and out. There are leveling pads on all the legs if you need them. The top is a laminate or veneer but pretty. Overall, a nice table!

The table was fairly easy to put together
The table was fairly easy to put together. The only problem was the middle sagged and a piece of the leaf came chipped. IF you buy this from an authorized dealer then the manufacturer will replace or send any missing parts or damaged parts. I'm not sure if amazon is an authorized dealer. Other wise the table is super cute, I love it. I didn't want to buy something expensive I would have to finance, I wanted something quick and cheap.
