If you’re looking for a book that gives you the basics about teaching volleyball, this isn’t the book. This is mostly about everything that happens off the court such as parent meetings and building rapport with them and their children.

Whitney does a great job of providing valuable information to coaches. The book even points out the small things you may not think about, like passing on parking information for a tournament venue to parents to ensure your players hit the court on time.

The Volleyball book was a great beginning for people who are becoming New coaches. This book also has a lot of good information to share with people to help the understand the value of being a good coach.

I am preparing for my first year of coaching and this is exactly the book I was looking for!!! Thank you so much for creating this. No matter what level you coach - READ THIS!

This book was ok. If you are looking for leadership/sport psychology, drill suggestions, look elsewhere.

I liked the practicality of this book and examples especially of try outs and how to set up your team or program before season starts. It did have a heavy focus on club vball
