Q: Have the Texas stamps been updated to comply with the new requirement of having your ID number on them?

I have an NY stamp and it is not required we have our ID number on it but the stamp did have it on there. Just make sure you give them the number when they ask for your info.

Q: Do you have to buy your first stamp from the state I live in or can I buy it on here.

You buy it from here after you get your certificate from the state. You will have to email or fax the certificate for them to make your stamp.

Q: what size is the rectangle stamp?

The stamped image is about 1/2 inch x 3/4 inch.!

Q: Do you have to buy a whole new stamp every 4 years when commission expires?

I would double check with your state, but myself & the other notaries I know in New York personalize the stamp where the year is able to be filled in, so it looks like this: September 14, 20____. We have to renew every four years in NY but as long as you do so on time the only thing that changes is the year.
