Absolutely essential
First off, this stuff smells AMAZING. It is a feeding simulant, so it has to smell tasty for bees, and this is just delightful. It's very easy to use--just remember to wipe the bottle down against drips.I use it in my hives whenever I'm feeding, in both inverted jar feeders or top frame feeders and it never seems to go cloudy or ferment. The bees love it. This product was recommended (along with the aminos) by a master beekeeper in my area. His words? "It's not hype!". This is a great addition to feed your hives in spring or dearth.

Good stuff
Can't feed in hive! Will create robbing everytime.However it's good stuff and bees love it when open feeding 60 or so yards from hive.Good for the bees!

Bees love it
Oh my goodness, this stuff smells absolutely amazing! Every time I mix it up, I want to pour myself a glass of it to see what I'm missing out on.... Is there a human version? haha!The bees are absolutely drawn to it and apparently enjoy the scent as well. I have to keep the pitcher that I mix it in covered while I'm opening up the hive to get to the feeders. If I don't the bees quickly find it and go for a swim.I can't speak to any observed benefits of the ingredients aside from the fact that they drink it down like it's their last meal.
