*standard* Genuine part for Dyson DC07
Dont let my title fool you, this is a Genuine Dyson part for the DC07 uprights. The only thing you have to consider, should you have a vacuum that is colored like mine (Dyson DC07 All-Floors Cyclone Upright Vacuum Cleaner, well i technically have the animal but couldn't find it on amazon...) when you go to replace the hose, the connecting points will now be the standard gray vs the matching color of the previous hose.This does NOT affect the performance at all, and if someone had NO idea, they wouldn't even notice. The size is perfect and it snaps in easy. Make you feel like you did something. Dyson is an excellent brand and this is my 1st time replacing parts on mine (have had it for over 6 years, the hose started to come apart at sections and after 3 pieces of sheet metal tape, i got tired of dealing with it). Feels good to know that any user can keep a $500 vacuum running with little effort & cost.The part is the same part from Dyson, but as others mentioned, you save on Shipping and for me tax!Walnut Creek was extremely quick in processing my order and getting it out to me. Will look towards them for all my dyson vacuum needs.PS - do your self a favor, why buy a premium vac only to push it with sub par parts. Get the Genuine parts

Good…for the most part
Seems to be a good hose replacement. It installed easily and connecting point fits well. My only issue is, compared to my original hose, this one seems way “tighter,” meaning that it’s slightly hard to get it on and off the pipe, and it doesn’t stretch out as easily when you’re using just the hose and attachments. I can’t stretch it much without the vacuum rolling at me if the front or back of the vacuum is facing me, so I have to make sure the side of the vacuum is facing me. I’m hoping it’ll loosen up with continued use.

Fits my Dyson DC07 perfectly
The original flex hose gave out after 17 years. Dyson doesn't sell parts for this model anymore. So I ordered this one based on the good reviews. It fits my DC07 perfectly. It is about same weight as original, though slightly longer. Suction power is good. Streching the hose felt smoother on original and felt a little tight on the new one. Perhaps because it's new. Not sure if the material is the same thickness as the original. Only time will tell.
